Board Customization - Please Read
 

Hi everyone,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of customizing message boards and now it's your turn! Please post any picture and color suggestions that you have on this thread. We would appreciate it if you could let us know which pictures you’d like to see in the board graphic. Any help is appreciated, but we ask that you please do not post pictures directly onto this thread, as that will severely slow down the load time for people with slower connections.

Previously, you were allowed to vote for your favorite graphic, but now the decision is left up to the team members and the two Graphics Team Managers. We do want and need your input, though, so don't be discouraged by not being able to vote on a graphic. We have changed this in the interest of speeding up the process. We plan to have all graphics ready for your board in a week and customization should happen the week after.

Your suggestions for possible colors and images willl be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible, the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team, because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colors fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

This is so exciting! It sounds like the new system will be faster so I am excited to see this board up and customized. :)

Personally, I think the best color for this board would be a light blue with dark blue on the lines or something... Please, please no white or black. [i]*begs*[/b]

Well, I wouldn't worry about the board being black because we no longer use that color for backgrounds. ;)

Yay, I don't really like the black colour background that much either. I agree with Katie, any type of blue would look great, but what ever you choose I'm sure it will look good. I can't wait to see it customized :)

Anyhow, I agree with Katie. I think some kind of blue combination would look good. Or even a green combination. Well I'm sure whatever gets picked will be great. ;)

As for the pictures, I think I speak for all of us when I say that that first picture Katie posted is a favourite lol...

Anyways, very excited about the board customization, can't wait for it to actually happen. :)

Katie - You got it pretty much with your second guess. We aren't going to be posting the different options, the voting will be amongst the graphic team members only. But trust that we do want to use the graphic that looks the best, so don't worry too much. All the input you give us will definitely shape what we put together when we can use it. Certain images you guys suggest won't work because of the quality of them or the fact that half his head is cut off, but color suggestions are a big help :)

I definatly agree with a green combo too. Leaning more toward blue but green is good too.

I'll try looking for more pictures. I tried finding pictures where the head wasn't cut off but it can be hard. :lol: And thanks for explaining it more. I definatly trust the graphic teams judgement and if it speeds up the process, that makes it better. :)

I would say a forest green though. I'm not too big on any other green. :lol:

I agree with both Katie and Kate, I'm sure what ever the graphics team decides will be great :)

I'm leaning more towards blue as I love the colour so much :lol: But as long as it's not too dark or too light I'm happy :lol: ;)

And Katie I don't really like any greens to be honest either :lol:

:yay: I love Blue especially the colour blue, on Johnny Depp's board :nod: But I'm sure the graphics team will choose a great colour and do a great job! ;)

:lol: I do have to agree with you two on the blue combo. It's definatly my first choice, but I would be fine with a nice green combination. But yeah, I'm sure whatever that graphics team does will be amazing, and if we're lucky, it'll be something with blues in it hehe ;)

To be honest I don't mind what colour it is, I'm just happy that the Brad board is being customized :lol: But if it's blue or even green that makes it even better :)
