Thanks for the description SPA! Sounds like it should be hilarious! As for the Saw 4 picture, we know every inch of Scott's anatomy (not like that, get your mind out of the gutter!) so I think it's safe to go with our instincts here. We'll know if/when a picture of him emerges.

This was discussing new traps for Saw V.

I don't see his tattoo, but we've been told that those things could be covered up.
omg I thought so too, I thought it was from 4 (before I watched it.) But I just don't think that's him, somethings off about the mouth and the ears and the...chest.

even if they shaved his chest...the look just isn't right.

Busted! again! Oh, man! so I think it's safe to go with our instincts here. We'll know if/when a picture of him emerges.

p.s. I agree!
p.p.s. From prior page - SPA thanks for bringing over the Aliens news. There's a good chance this episode will get a lot of critical notice - it should, anyway!! The show's writers picked the perfect novel for airing issues of censorship. "Madame Bovary" came out in 1851 (France) in serial form. In 1856, its author, Gustave Flaubert, was prosecuted for an "affront to public morals". The book was banned by the Catholic church [until 1948(!), possibly]. In 1857 Flaubert was acquitted (not typical outcome at the time- censorship was running high), and the book was published. It was and is considered a classic of literary "realism". Lead character is an adulteress ... the portrait of her boring, bourgeois marriage - vs. her inner hopes/longings - makes her a sympathetic character, which was considered objectionable. Absolutely nothing in the novel is obscene.

I don't know if this is the right thread for this, since the Saw thread is now spoiler free. Please let me know if I need to move it, or if it's already been posted!

Thanx for the news Damselfly. It seems as though they are casting a lot of new female actors for the Saw V. No word yet as to whether Agent Perez will be returning -- did she survive Jigsaw's trap in IV. And these women are young and beautiful!!!

I noted somewhere that Scott seems to have demoted to 3rd billing -- he was 2nd. I'm reading: Tobin Bell, Julie Benz, Scott Patterson, Costas Mandylor, ......

Here's Episode 1.17 Title and Spoiler:

Quote:
Aliens in America - Episode 1.17 - Wake at the Lake Airs: 11th May 2008

Raja joins Students Against Drunk Driving and is given the job of organizing a fake funeral for a student who was killed in a drunk driving accident.
Wow -- I don't think there's going to be very much, if any, humor in this episode.

Episode 1.18 is still labeled: Raja at 16 though nothing yet is being written about it.

Sorry for the double post. My only reasoning??? I lost my mind.

Wow pulling out the big guns. Sex Offenders, book censorship/banning, Students Against Drunk Driving.

Apparently the show isn't afraid to use humor with the serious issues. Now to see if they pull it off

Scott said this show was going to "push the envelope" but where do you draw the line? It's going to be an interesting four weeks, that's for sure.

A New Description for Episode 1.17

Quote:
SUNDAY, MAY 11

"ALIENS IN AMERICA" (8:30-9:00 p.m. ET)

"Wake at the Lake"

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE As an extracurricular activity, Raja (Adhir Kalyan) joins Students Against Drunk Driving and is given the job of organizing the annual event - a fake funeral for a student who was killed in a drunk-driving accident. Because the chosen victim has traditionally been the school's most popular student, everyone expects Raja to select Dan Archer (guest star Jacob Blair), but Raja rebels and gives the dubious honor to Justin (Dan Byrd). When Dan Archer decides to hold his own funeral - the Wake at the Lake - Justin turns decides to go all out to attract mourners, and the competition escalates until Justin receives a sobering reminder of what the event is really about. Amy Pietz, Lindsey Shaw and Scott Patterson also star. Sarah Pia Anderson directed the episode written by Michael Glouberman

Okay, so I can see a little humor here. At least it's not about Justin trying to get some sex while pretending to be "dead." Should be an interesting episode.

So in stead of Battle of the Bands, It's Battle of the Wakes.

So most likely Justin will be a doof, Raja will show him the error of his ways and Justin will learn something.

The CW site has the new episode "The Muslim Card" coming this Sunday up and running -- as well as the Director's Cut. No Scott scenes in either clip. Looks like mostly Raja and Justin this time around.

Quote:
Last Episode of the Season: Raja at Sixteen

As the weather is becoming warmer so are the hearts of the Medora High School students: Justin is fed up at tons of couples making out on the school's grounds. In comes Donna, the only girl in school who actually had a crush on Justin... Raja and Sadika (from episode "100,000 Miles") date. It looks like Claire may be dating the German exchange student.

Last episode of the "Season":

Quote:
SUNDAY, MAY 18 -- "Raja at Sixteen"

RAJA DATES A MUSLIM GIRL AND HER ENTIRE FAMILY Justin notices that Raja is obsessed with Sadika Sadaqatmal (guest star Sunita Prasad), one of the few Muslim girls in Medora. When Franny hears about Raja's interest in a girl, she immediately arranges for a date which requires the attendance of every member of the Tolchuck and Sadaqatmal families. Justin is stung when his parents comment that even Raja has begun dating while Justin has yet to find a girlfriend, so he asks out a neurotic girl named Donna (guest star Carol Hodge). Meanwhile, Claire begins dating a German exchange student (guest star Larn Anderson) who lives with the Sadaqatmal family. Fred Savage directed the episode written by Richard Day.
Don't know what Gary is up to in this episode.

Sorry for the double post -- however, it was almost a week apart with new news.
