Few deserved consolation more than George; yet several months later he consoled us (with a little help from Ringo and Paul, also on the recording). It's as humbling to reflect upon how much John accomplished by the age of 40(!) - as it is stunning to ponder what might have been. May John and George rest in eternal peace. p.s. | I know! It's just with John Lennon as the subject, that much is self-evident!! I'm workin on it! ~~~ I don't know about any of you - but once you pass a certain age - and you realize you've lived longer than Marilyn, Elvis, John, Dr. King, et al. - it's freaky and truly humbling - and it just makes you think. Heck - James Dean, Buddy Holly - age 23, 22. That's my intent ... don't need to say "think!" to get there.... ~~~ Okay, here goes (!): George’s loving tribute to John Lennon consoled us all. Humbling to reflect how much John accomplished by age 40; stunning to ponder what might have been. | Ela, the cover is great! I love how you chose a similar style of lettering as the original's. Awesome! That makes four covers. I am working on Sgt. Pepper (although I couldn't this weekend). I'm going to need some time for that one because it's much more complicated. I will get time this week to devote quality hours to it, though. Quote:
