Not a news flash -- and -- it's common knowledge.

I think we are all on the same page -- and speaking clearly in different languages with the same bottom line results.

How are the covers coming along???

I have at the moment simply no idea as I can reshape the text. I'm grateful for every tip.

I'm the wrong person to answer this question. I know less than you do, Ela. Maybe PM NoGods???

Okay.
But, the graphics make no problems to me. I simply don't find the right words.

Ela, no worries on the wording part. I have pre-set cd jacket sheets for printing of graphics onto jacket cards for cds. I'll take care of the wording. I was letting you and NoGods take care of the graphics. The wording already on your graphics that was copied from the original artistc cd jacket is fine -- as is.

When graphicc files have been finalized, I'll just need you and NoGods to send to me -- I'll take it from there.

Let me know if this is not clear. All I'm saying is that you do not need to worry about wording on the cover picture -- we are leaving the pictures alone without words -- your art speaks for itself.

Lulu, sorry for my confusion. I think we are actually all thinking the same on the CD covers.

Ela, are you asking for ideas on what words to substitute in place of Physical Graffiti on the Led Zeppelin cover?

'Happy Birthday Scott' could be one idea. It has two more letters than the original.

I thought we were going to leave the front covers "as is" except to change whoever's name to Scott's. But leave the rest of the cover in-tact. Again, I thought no change of wording on the front covers with except to Scott's name. The back of each jacket will have title of each cd plus titles of all the songs on the cds (plus the artists). The inside of the jacket will have name of artist/title of song and the "liner" for each song.

Maybe there's too many cooks in the kitchen -- I'm backing out now.

Tarty:
My first idea was - "happy 50th Birthday" in the windows. And instead of "LED ZEPPELIN" I have thought of his name.

Deborah:
I simply make sometimes several versions. Then we can discuss over again and decide who look best.

I love your first idea, Ela. If you put the 'th' in the same window after 50 it would balance out. (Does that make sense?) I love your idea about using Scott's name instead of Led Zeppelin on top.

Here is the original album cover so everyone can see what we are talking about.

I'm not quite sure whether I understand you properly. Do you believe, I should not use the "50" rather? I wanted to split all, on every window. This would exactly fit. Or should I make 50 in a window, and "th" in the next window?

So sorry. Ela, I think you should do the cover exactly how you originally planned. I am no graphics person, and I am going to follow Deborah's lead and back out too. I don't want to cause any more confusion than I already have. Again sorry.

Has anyone thought of any more liner notes??

We have liner note suggestions for over half of the songs, but we need to finish this phase of the project so Deborah has enough time to put it together. Anyone?? Don't be shy, all suggestions are welcome.
