This storm packed a stronger punch than most people though. Scott's hometown got slammed real good too. I wonder if his family still lives in the area they grew up?

That is very sad. I didn't realize he lived in New Jersey.

SPA 08-30-2011 08:32 PM

It's hard to tell, isn't it (where Sebastian is from). Still, it's in North Jersey (near NYC) but nonetheless. I like Sebastian Bach and his love of life (and "Rock-n-Roll"). He seems just enthused about life now as he did 30 years ago -- gotta love the passion. I remember an interview where Scott said that he and Sebastian talked about music and electric guitar moves -- the musician just trying to chisel out from inside Scott. Maybe we'll see one day.

It has been "Confirmed" !!! Scott is now filming with CSI Miami. He really likes the cast and says that David Caruso is a "great guy". I wasn't told anything about what his character is. I'm just hoping it's a recurring role!!

lancer1993 08-31-2011 05:25 PM

Such good news... so I'm not the only one who's hoping Scott can join an existing show?

SPA do we have a link or something?

And remember this moment from S6
Quote:

JACKSON: So did anybody see that new show on TV last night?
LORELAI: The one where they were solving crimes by cutting bodies open and poking their organs?
JACKSON: No.
SOOKIE: The one where they're solving crimes from 30 years ago by going to graveyards and cutting open bodies and poking their organs?
JACKSON: No.
LORELAI: OH! The one where people are missing, and they find their bodies, and cut them open, and poke their organs, and that's how they solve crimes?
JACKSON: No.
LORELAI: What else is on?

That was a funny scene. And appropriate.

Deborah, if he is filming now, that should be for an episode maybe a few into the season. Seeing as it is Sept now and they usually start filming July or August, i would think

lancer1993 08-31-2011 06:44 PM

So do I start watching CSI Miami again or just the ones with Scott?

Yeah it's probably a few eps in, unless it's been kept under wraps and he's been shooting the show since July?

SPA 08-31-2011 06:45 PM

No links, yet, Craig. But I had it confirmed by the most reliable of sources. I'm expecting news to come out real soon. The new season begins in 3 weeks. I'm thinking TPTB are filming about episode 5 or 6 (thinking 4 or 5 are already in the can -- hey, but what do I know!!)

lancer1993 08-31-2011 08:30 PM

When we get more details we might be able to track down some sides and stuff.

Can't wait to hear what Scott has to say.

Oh thats a good idea, Craig.

SPA 09-01-2011 12:38 PM

Great thought/idea, Craig!!

Hey to all our California members........

Quote:

Production for CSI Miami:
Indoor scenes are shot at Raleigh Manhattan Studios in Manhattan Beach, California.

The majority of all outdoor scenes are filmed in Long Beach, California, as well as portions of Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. (Woo Hoo!!)

Beach areas of Downtown Long Beach are often used for other outdoor scenes: Marina Green Park, Rainbow Lagoon Park. The newly constructed highrise condos there give the pretense of being in Miami.

Other locations of Long Beach are used such as the Naples district, where its canals and upscale homes with large boat docks and palm trees give a feel of Miami.

The building that's used in exterior shots of the Miami-Dade Police Department crime lab is actually the Federal Avidation Administration Federal Credit Union headquarters located at 14600 Aviation Boulevard, Hawthorne, California.
Now.........Go find Scott!!!!

lancer1993 09-01-2011 01:59 PM

Thanks for that SPA, I thought that was the case, you do remember 'Stars Hollow' is in California not Connecticut!

Off to do a Google maps search for the 'Police Department crime lab'...

Stars Hollow isn't in Connecticut? You take that back, Craig. :D

The only thing I hated about the GG set was when they faked the snow, most of the time you could see it wasn't real, worst time was the horse slay rides, look close they had wheels!

So apart from aerial shots of Miami they do the rest in LA, I'm guessing the same goes for the original CSI and NY?

Now we just need an ep title, I assume Scott had to audition for the part?

lulu1960 09-01-2011 05:08 PM

A title would be very helpful.
