FYI: For those who get multiple Encore cable stations, Rhapsody in Bloom is playing today at 1:50 p.m. and again at 12:50 a.m. early Sunday morning. Scott in one of his earlier movies -- 1998. It isn't a big part, but he sure looks fabulous in a suit!!!

He really is supportive of young actors, isn't he. Helping pave the way for them. He certainly is a class act. Can anyone speculate which Natalie Portman move that would catch his interest?? Very interesting.

I do remember Vanessa in the Cold Case episode being a "goth girl" and I remember looking at her in disbelief. This was a look that Luke would not tolerate. (half chuckling). I also realized how much older she looked in that episode, and then also noticed how grown-up she had become her first episode in GG to her last couple of episodes in GG in Season 7. It's that age group that can change instantly -- overnight, isn't it. I hadn't realized that both sisters played sisters on Without A Trace. You learn something new every day.

I love how generous Scott is towards his fellow actors: young, old, and in-between. He's a dear-heart, for sure. As for the Natalie Portman movie, I would guess it was 1996's Beautiful Girls. I saw it when it came out, and I remember being extremely impressed by her performance even though she was just a young teen at the time.

I have tried to catch Vanessa and others in their post GG work but sometimes they are hard to find, especially her in Australia.

There is information to review on IMDb that I can copy or that others could see. It looks like a Canadian show -- and looks like it was filmed in Toronto. And, it also looks like the episode that Scott was in was aired a week ago -- last Monday.


Here is the summary of Plenty of Fish. I wonder if Scott plays the guy who she dreads meeting at her H.S. reunion??

Erica, feeling like a failure since high school, decides to ask Ethan, who is going through a divorce and recently moved back to Toronto, to escort her as her make believe boyfriend to her high school reunion. There are two people who Erica is not looking forward to seeing at the reunion. One is Katie, who has always gotten under Erica's skin. But the more important one is Zach Creed, the popular kid to whom she lost her virginity. Beyond the fact that the sex with Zach was bad, he humiliated her after the fact. Erica feels that experience with Zach has negatively tainted the way she now views potential boyfriends. Dr. Tom gives her the opportunity to redo that experience with Zach. But based on what she sees at the reunion, the one person that Erica may instead want to lose her virginity to the second time around is Alex Berlin, who was then the quiet class geek. Her time with Alex both then and now makes her realize who is really important in her life.

It also looks like it is a Soap.net series (online, which is good -- seemingly) Online it says that the series premieres on February 19th (Thursdays) at 10:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

Okay so I dl-ed *cough* the episode and skimmed through it but I didn't see Scott. Maybe he was only in the back.. without any lines, I don't know. I mean, he's only listed as some guy.. and I didn't see him in the credits either.

I am inclined to agree with you Craig. Thing is IMDb has both Scotts listed for this one episode. The lead actress portrays a 32 year old woman who is reassessing her choices in her young life. Does that sound like 'our' Scott? And it is a guest appearance. Why would 'our' Scott do one appearance on a show filmed/filming in Toronto? Doesn't seem to be a recurring role and only 5 episodes have been filmed so far, and it is scheduled for 13 eppys; and this particular episode is the 3rd. But then again......

Just seems to me that the show is geared or a younger audience to, but what do I know.

And you are right, Scott is signed up for two action movies; and he's wearing multple hats in another movie -- producer, actor, songwriter. And just recently he said that he has a comedy series that it gaining some attention so this guest appearance just sounds out of the blue.

Could there be a possibility that he offered to do this while he was already in Toronto last Spring for Saw V, and it just took a long time for this series to get off the ground?
