But what about someone new to the Saw legacy?

Over the past eight weeks a group of ten aspiring horror heroines have bathed with snakes, swam in pools of blood and came face-to-face with thousands of cockroaches. Now the final three actresses must prove who is the most worthy of the breakout role in Saw VI and the crowning title of "Scream Queen."

On Monday, December 8 at 10:00 pm (check your local listings) the remaining actresses take on their final challenge in the VH1 reality series Scream Queens. Over the course of the series, the ladies have shown acting coach John Homa, actress Shawnee Smith (of the first three Saw films), and writer/director/producer James Gunn that they have the ambition, stamina and lung capacity to appear in a horror film.

However, only one of these actresses has the convincing talent and fearlessness to star in the sixth installment of Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures' Saw franchise. Watch as the final three compete in the Scream Queens Gauntlet, an emotionally and physically exhausting challenge that will put all of their new acting abilities to the test.

The loser will immediately get "The Axe," while the remaining two actresses will go head to head in the final Director's Challenge that will determine who rightfully gets the breakout role in Saw VI and the title of Scream Queen.

The L.A. Times is reporting that SAG will be sending out ballots to members of the Guild in mid-December for 3 to 4 weeks for ballots to be returned. The aim is for a strike in January 09 -- which, of course, will run into, again, into the awards calendars. I sure am dreading this.

Scotty_Love: Scott is affiliated with Evolution Entertainment -- I'm not sure about Costas, perhaps he is as well -- the address is either of Evolution / Lionsgate / of something dealing with the Saw series. It's a business address for sure.

Well, I was blown away the other night when I received some information from Scott who is giving us an update on what he’s up to. Here, in part, is what he writes:

and with this economy in a death spiral it is providing a rare challenge.
I wrote a new song for the film called 'And We Burned'.

I have one comedy feature that is beginning to gain some traction but,
with an impending strike we are waiting for the right opportunity to go
forward. It’s all about timing in this game.

It looks like he’s busy and working hard. And he’s making progress on his music! I can’t wait to hear what his ‘sound’ is like. And I’m very interested in Scott’s comedy feature filled with ‘his’ kind of humor – at least it’s not a horror flick [Sorry Scott – I’ve had my fill of that for a while] or a police action drama – I’m ready for a good comedy/dramedy

I have also have some information movies “Liberty” and “The Rogue”, from a friend of mine who says that sometime in February, new information will be published for both movies; and also said that both films are slated for filming from mid- to late-2009, respectively; and hopes that people will check the IMDb links for updates and credits for the whole team. “Liberty” link; and “The Rogue” link

That’s all I could find after weeks of inquires and research. I’m really glad that Elements of a Pink Ribbon is still active. I certainly will be saying prayers and keeping fingers crossed that the financing issue gets resolved and that everything goes as planned.

Thank you, SPA, for the news. He does sound busy. And I'm really looking forward to Elements of a Pink Ribbon. I really hope it will turn out okay... stupid financial issues. Because... hearing Scott's music? That would be amazing!!

Yes, Scotty_Love: Scott is in this movie along with Keiko Agena (Lane Kim on GG). Scott is also a Producer of this movie; and is also submitting songs/music for the film -- He is wearing many hats for this project. We need everyone to keep their fingers crossed.
