| Very odd writeup in TV. (The May120-18th issue) Apparently they are under this assumption. FYI - Scott Patterson, the Australian film director = Scott Patterson (IV) on imdb.com Our ScottyP = Scott Gordon Patterson (I) ... the first; the one and only....! p.s. As far as I've been able to tell - he hasn't made political contributions dating back to 2000 - earliest I could check. | True - but I think that's because of the extreeeeeemely long primary season. Wouldn't be surprised to see that even out within 4 weeks of E-day. Meanwhile - any news will do - I'm ready!!!!! | Nor mine! Was replying to you factually; no opinions proferred! Though for clarification - political contributions are factual ... matter of public record ... and free on-line. (FYI - there's a search engine just for celebrities and others in several key industries incl. entertainment (national donations only) - on Campaign Donors : Fundrace 2008 - Huffington Post Expressing political opinions - different matter - ITA!  ~~~~~~~~~~ News item I heard this a.m. ... The City of New York recently offered big incentives to lure filming/taping of movies and TV in the Big Apple - away from L.A. ... and it's working. It's not hurting the writers so much ... but many people whose livelihoods depend on serving show biz - as well as crew members ... lost jobs during the writers strike ... and they're still hurting ... esp. as productions move to NYC. Also - Canada was always "a bargain" for filmmaking- but not these days ... not with the weak US$. It made me wonder vis-a-vis all of Scott's projects: I wonder if any of them will bring him back east for a while?!!! __________________ "It's a beautiful day here.
