Atom Films Presents Definitely Not Hollywood Dark Comedy Edition Volume 1
Starring: George Clooney, Samantha Mathis Director: Grant Heslov, Scott Patterson Rating

I found this listed on Amazon, but I could not locate any more information about it. It is from 1999. Is this our Scott as the director?? If so, does anyone know any more about it?

Amazon is not selling the DVD, but third-party sellers are selling it used.

No - Scott's never directed (professionally) (yet) - and in fact it might get confusing when he does!! There's an Australian director named "Scott Patterson." Sometimes his credits get mixed in with our Scott's credits by mistake....

Also as a heads-up while we're at it - there's currently a AAA pitcher for the NY Yankees - who's from New Jersey - and whose name is also Scott Patterson. Which is really messing up searches for our SP's baseball cards/info!!!

Just noticed title of this thread - "news - if there (is) any" LOL!!!!!

I don't think Scott has directed yet either, Tarty. Karen is right, I've also found an Australian director with the same name -- You know, it does look like something that Scott would be involved in, doesn't it?? May be worth a shot to investigate more.

Don't you think Scott's credits would mention it if he'd directed a film starring George Clooney?? Prominently?!!!!! He hasn't directed anything (yet!)

You're probably right -- I still am interested who that Scott Patterson is, though.

I wonder if he did a movie with Clooney if they'd mistake him for George too (like with John Krasinski!)

I'm getting antsy for more news now.

Oh and for the next thread, I vote for the title being Deborah's "Rooster Doodle Doo".

Okay, I'll get ready to create the new thread when it comes.

"Rooster-Doodle-Doo -- Any News Will Do" is the catch phrase of the day!! [wink winkers] That phrase cracks me up. Sounds like a bonafid "durdy" to me!!!

I don't think so -- the clean language police will take away my library card. Bannished for life for using "that word." Rooster will have to do.

Sounds good to me Deborah. It's funny because I was posting a comment on Kristiens column about Aliens and I mentioned that Pussy Cat Dolls was advertized like there was no tomorrow and Aliens was not. It censored the first word.

That's cause you have a lot of characters named Dick (Dick Casablancas, VM for example.)

Not really sure about why the other is that way though. hehe

I wonder if his paintings are watercolor or oil, portrait or landscape, or even abstract. Again, oh the possibilities!!

I've been wondering the exact same thing. If he's serious about it I'm guessing oils definitely; watercolors maybe. Watercolor painting is much harder than it looks.... I also wonder how much drawing vs. painting?! And has he always been doing this on his downtime or is it something he did a long time ago and picked up again more recently? As a totally wild guess - I'd say 60/40 he's abstract - not representational. Or if his paintings are representational, there's some kind of twist....
I also keep thinking of the Will & Grace ep. in which he plays a watercolor artist. Saw it again recently! Everytime I've watched it - I've thought he's portraying an artist in the same way he's an FBI agent in Saw - or a diner owner on GG. Joke's on me! I'll never see it the same way again!!

NOTE - this is the 300th post
