Has anyone ever gone to the "whosdatingwho" website? It shows a dating history for Scott. I don't know how accurate it is but it's fun to look at.

It does not mention Lauren and Scott dating on that site but there are a few pictures of them together.
I checked under Lauren's name and it said she is married????? Since 2005 to a guy named Marc Blucas, does any one know anything about that?????

It's wrong, yes she dated Marc Blucas but she has never been married.

There was a link about Scott and Lauren but I think it was rumours or wishes of some fans.

How do you know it's wrong Craig.... she never seems to talk about her private life and there is always just a few pictures of her out but never with a date or something.

She dated Blucas briefly a long time ago. ITA lancer1993 about Scott and Lauren. I'm not sure why people wish the actors' relationships mirrored that of the performers - but to each his or her own! Although in some cases ... Spencer Tracy/Katharine Hepburn ... Humphrey Bogart/Lauren Bacall come to mind ... the personal chemistry blazes on the screen. But as an achievement in the performing arts - magic is making the unreal seem real. The great classic actors I've just mentioned were great with any co-star; knowledge of their real lives adds a spark. Scott and Lauren were great as Luke and Lorelai and are great actors because they were playing a part ... and they made the characters so real! Magic!!!

Like Wikipedia and imdb.com, whosdatingwho (or whosdatingwhom - to be gramatically correct) is a website that does not vet or fact-check any of the information they post. Anyone who wants to add information can do so. Those kinds of sites are notoriously unreliable ... and really unfair to anyone mentioned ... because when people see things "in print" whether on- or off-line, they tend to assume they are true. The principle behind wikipedia is that with enough posters, over time untruths will be corrected and only true information will surface. However - even on that site there's so much information - some of which is impossible to check - that there's a lot of misinformation mixed in. And without "the law of large numbers", sites like imdb and whosdatingwho can say anything - and it will go unchallenged.

One of the things I've appreciated deeply since joining this forum is that we don't critique or even speculate on Scott's personal relationships. Major kudos to pinkpaisley and kiara99 for adhering to that strictly - always. Indeed, I'd never have joined FF otherwise. Here I've found friends and fellow fans who, like me, love Scott's public persona and his performances. We learn what we can about him through his interviews; but otherwise we respect his privacy and his personal life. We're incredibly fortunate as "fans" that Scott is so articulate, has such interesting points of view, and a unique "voice". His interviews always fascinate me, whether video, audio, or print ... even on dark days(!)

I respect his privacy but a part of me whats to know who he is dating, how serious??? I think it is human nature to be curious, just like looking at a accident when you drive by!

This is often why actors hook up on set, even if it's just to scratch and itch so to speak and this is where rumours come from.

I agree their personal lives are not one else business but I do love how they joked about being together at one point, maybe they tried something, went out I don't really care I just care how good they are on screen where it's GG or AiA or any future projects. Right now the only remote possibility of them working together would be a GG movie.

I agree, Karen. The major flaw with whosedatingwho, to me, is that anyone can plug in anyone's name, unsubstantiated. To be honest, that's not the part of Scott I'm interested in anyways. Silently, slightly curious -- sure, but really, unless he announces something, it's not on the top of my list. I keep remembering Princess Di.

Ditto here. I've met a lot of nice people here who share my admiration for this wonderful human being -- and at the same time found other wonderful human beings as well. It's a great Forum.

Well, it wasn't a rule or anything. More a lack of information about that part of his life. Like Michelle said, it's in our nature to be curious. I mean, if I remember correctly, this board was buzzing when that pic of him kissing Christine came out.

But we have always prohibited bashing of her or any other girl he may (or may not) have dated.

I'm always curieous too, but it is like you said as long as we are respectful because basically Scott's in the public eye but the woman aren't (if that makes sense). Plus we will never know for sure unless he comes out himself saying who the women are to him.
