Dumb question but which movie did he play an alien?

I'm hoping the next big project is the Gilmore TV movie, maybe done in the summer when the strike is over.

I guess I had it all wrong, when Scott said his agent said he was no Brad Pitt, I thought it was more about money than celebrity. I just assumed he meant he could not afford to take a year off!

I agree with Karen & Deb, I really do not want him to become "too big" because we would lose the closeness of our group and we really would not have a communication with Scott. I guess I just want people to respect him more as an actor. I think he deserves it.

He speaks two different languages in the movie. No Jersey accent when he speaks English; and Cantonese (is that the correct place??) -- the Newcomers' language. The other Alien Nation movies are on cable, but haven't seen Dark Harizon on the list -- yet. It'll come around soon enough. The other alien movie that Scott has done was "Them". He plays a human scientist, but there are aliens involved.

I think the language is Tekonese! (made-up word)
It's kinda cool - at the beginning he's subtitled ... then he speaks with a Russian/slavic accent.
Unfortunately the movie's only available on VHS (sometimes/rarely ... like e-bay) ... but it sometimes comes on cable. It just played twice in the last week! Cinemax.
I've never seen THEM.
Michelle ITA - his celebrity is not commensurate with his talent ... and he's definitely got 'the spark' that screams "star" ... I wish him more prof'l. recognition, too. I just hope he doesn't use that as a mark of his success ... because what he's accomplished when you consider he didn't begin acting until his mid/late 30s, his success is nothing short of phenomenal ... on top of a career as a ballplayer (not "the show" but AAA is pretty darned good!)
Cary Grant never won an Oscar (except an honorary one in 1970 - which made him tear up in front of everyone on live TV ... great moment). The list of greats who never won awards is very lengthy. So I hope deep down (or closeup!) SP knows what we do! He's one of the all-time greats!!!!

You know, that was one sexy man, Cary Grant. And he was 53 years old when he made An Affair to Remember; and he was a pretty nice looking ticket then and afterwards. He's another man that aged very gracefully, huh. I think Scott will age the same way.

Who thinks that Scott is vacationing right now?? Skiing or Surfing? Warm sunshine or Sunny and 3 ft of powder?? Hmmmmmm.

And 3 more months til the production of Saw V, if, that's still the timeline. Are there any movies being filmed now?

Was just on my other forum and read a post of a person who said she saw Scott at a gas station in LA. She was a tourist having trouble finding the gas release lever and getting frustrated, when she heard someone ask her if she needed help. It was Scott. She worked up the courage to say she was a fan and they had a brief convo.

Latest strike news - not good for writers

The force majeure ax has swung at ABC Studios, which today notified nearly two dozen writers that it was terminating their overall deals as a result of the strike. While all the major studios had previously suspended deals for their scribes, the ABC Studios move reps the biggest move yet by a major to cut ties to talent. - variety.com
