Too true, Deborah. Your thoughts tonight are very profound. Probably because we're coming to the end of another year. But it would definitely make my year to meet Scott and spend time with him. Hopefully, I will have grandchildren to pass along the memories to.

I have a sneaking suspicion that when (I didn't say "if") he becomes more popular with tv shows and movies, he's going to become less accessible. I'm hoping that he's the exception to the rule -- natural course of order keeps coming into my mind. And you know what?? He deserves it. When you are such a team player as he is, a reward of popularity is warranted. We all will wish him nothing but the best in anything. That's my wish for him anyways.

I agree, Deborah. I totally hope he has much success coming to him. He deserves it. But I do believe one day I will have my moment with Scott.

I just read some articles that the Letterman/WGS union's negotiations went very smoothly and that the Union was happy at the outcome. I wonder, does that put Letterman at odds with CBS Studios??

No, SPA, I don't think so. That's because DL's company Talking Pants Inc. owns both the Letterman and Ferguson shows. Leno et al. are going on tomorrow night also ... but without their writers --> a-listers will gravitate to DL.
Each prod. company is on its own ... and if it's a high % of network or studio-financing ... then we're still in strikeland.
The only hope is that the networks start getting nervous about losing audiences permanently ... esp. if all the weirdo pilots and off-season shows, which they're about to air, don't make it.

I heard they canceled The People Choice Awards.

According to CBS they're still on for Jan 13th. I'll see if I can find something that confirms what Elissa heard.

What I heard is that they cancelled the actors coming to the showplace where it was to be taped. Latifa is going to be on a soundstage at CBS Studioss and the awards will be presented via by video. No live appearances. That's sooooo sad. Close to -- "why bother."

I thought I heard on my local news that the award show was canceled completely. I don't know for sure though.

It still may be cancelled entirely, but it looks like CBS is doing some damage control. Not expecting high numbers to be watching. I'll be interested if Aliens gets some large plugs and/or an award.

That is what I heard as well
