I wonder why we aren't getting any new news of or from Scott lately? With the 3 additional episodes and Saw just a week away....... I wish there was something coming out about tv appearances. ~sigh~

I'm not in the US so has there been much advertising or promotions for AiA or SAW4?

I'm bad, I still have not found the time to watch SAW 1, 2 & 3.

There have been quite a few commercials for Saw 4 on the Big 4 networks according to my mom, but so far I haven't seen one. Maybe if I start watching something other than Fox News for a change... Aliens is a critcs' favorite but there are not really that many ads for it... even on the CW, which should not surprise anyone after the way they "promoted" the end of GG. My cat could do a better job.

I think giving LG a producer credit was one of the best things that happened in season 7. It is only when she started to have a bit of control that we got a version of normal Lorelai back. She knew early on that her character had lost its true voice. I believe we were told she used to email Amy and complain about how things were going in the new season. Also, it was Lauren who chose I Will Always Love You instead of Fernando. It was Lauren's idea to have Lorelai sing at all. And had Lauren not asked for a rewrite or two in the finale, who knows what kind of finale we would have gotten. There wouldn't have been any closure with any of the characters and Luke and Lorelai may not have even reunited. We'll never know, but I'm thankful that Lauren was allowed to have some say. She, along with the rest of the cast, are the ones who knew the most about the show, knew the most about the characters, in Season 7. And, as far as I can remember, Dawn Ostroff made it very clear at a press conference that things were going to change in the 2nd half of the season. I don't think they were pushing for anything.

I completely agree with this.

And I would like to get back on topic, like the last few posts here. We can go on and on, but saying over and over again how DR did a terrible job, is not something I want to keep discussing. It is what it is and I hope we get a movie or miniseries to tie up those loose ends, but other than that, GG is over. It's sad things turned out this way, but this is the way it is.

I just want to say ITA! Thank you. I don't think judging people based on assumptions on what we hink happened is the most correct thing to do. We only know that and that DR was the showrunner. No matter how many people helped him, he was the last one to say the final word or at least should be. This is what we know. The rest are just assumptions. JMO, of course.

and I'm sorry, we can go back to on topic. I really hope Scott will be on Kimmel. It's not my favorite host, but I'll take anything.

I've seen the commercials, but unlike the Saw IV movie trailer I've seen on the internet, the clip of SP has been left out of all of the tv commercials I've seen.

On a different note, has anyone heard anything about the release of "Her Best Move"? Last I heard, it was supposed to come out in some form (DVD? TV movie?) this October.

I saw several Saw IV ads over the weekend and one version had a couple of short shots of SP in them -- looking very GQ in a suit and overcoat!
