Well, I can "accurately" report that with Darren Bousman's recent interview about the upcoming Saw IV movie -- that Scott's character indeed is a detective named Strom. In Darren's interview he mentions two new characters in the movie -- Perez and Strom. I have this person who worked on the movie that was finally able to confirm for me, only after Darren Bousman mentioned it first in an interview, that Scott is indeed, Detective Strom. And since he's also lined up for Saw V and Saw VI, hopefully he won't be one of those tortured souls.

I have also been told that he wears suits in this movie -- so it doesn't seem likely that we see a naked or half naked Scott. (sooooo sad

)

Anyway, that's all I have for now.

Scott as a detective... not bad.

It's a little sad though. Would have loved to see him shirtless after knowing he spent quite some time at the gym.
