I thought that I would share this information with you.

Some people have speculated on what were SP’s motives for signing to play in the SAW movies.

He explained simply that he had admired Darren Lynn Bousman’s talent for some time and now they were offering him a chance to work with the man. He saw this as a great opportunity.

Besides SAW is the most successful horror franchise in history and the fact that they offered him a chance to create new character was too good to pass up. He is an actor and creating a character is what he does for a living and he loves it.

I read those speculations and thanks for clearing that up for us, Lea.

This has been a great opportunity for Scott and it's great that he took it. It can only lead to good things. Especially because Bousman himself seems to love Scott.

Wow, I'm clearly out of it. I heard no spec. But I'd prefer it that way. I hate spec. I'm a facts and evidence type gal

Well, clearly he is going to get great exposure from doing SAW IV. Granted I simply cannot watch it but it is a well-known movie franchise and he will get lots of recognition from doing it. I always thought it was a great career choice.

He doesn't take off his shirt? well at least he wont be tortured so we, or those of you going to see it, wont be seeing him headless or anything one would hope.
