I really hope so! I love it when he reaches out to us. I can't believe it's been 2 months already! Feels just like yesterday.

Getting back to the DVD topic (sorry I was gone this weekend). I really hope deborah is right about the missing scene. Because it really was Luke Lite and the bonfire scene sounded so awesome and another way for Scott to act with just his expressions.

[Keeping fingers crossed] It makes me wonder how many other scenes we missed; that were cut out and on the editing floor; that we have no knowledge of. Curiouser and curiouser.

From reports there were a number of deleted scenes in S7, most notable the joke that was "French Twist" was changed several times before we got the gem of and episode they produced LOL

I feel sorry for Lauren and David having to do those scenes.

A personal message from SP to his fans.

Quote:
Hey Gang,

Life is good in Canada!

The show is going very well due to the combined efforts of perhaps the best comedy writing staff ever assembled (you can thank reality TV for taking jobs away from some truly gifted artists). So many great writers without jobs and we got some of them. In addition, we have an awesome cast with the precocious trio of Dan Byrd, Adhir Kalyan, and Lindsey Shaw (she will be a big movie star) plus the extraordinarily talented Amy Pietz! We are having a blast and I think you are going to like it.

Warning - Gary Tolchuck in no way, shape or form resembles Luke Danes. This guy is a little off center and a little whacky and I love playing him. The writing is superb! Comedy is making a comeback!

That's all for now, folks. Take care and tune in Oct. 1st on the CW for Aliens in America.

Also, Oct. 26 Saw 4 hits theatres so check it out. Have a good 'ol traditional Halloween scare! It's on me.

See ya!

Scott.

Thanks Lea!

It may be a little tough at first to see Gary and not think of Luke. After all they do share the same body (OK, that may have come out a little dirtier than I intended or my mind just heads naturally towards smut when I think of SP and body) but when I look at Luke, I see Luke and I don't think of Scott.

When I spoke with Scott, he was so much different from Luke (all in a good way). I never once confused the real live person of Scott Patterson with the fictional Luke Danes. So I figure, I should be able to separate my mind from thinking about Luke while I watch Gary.

I think it will be funny to watch such an obviously hot, dynamic guy like SP acting "a little off center and a little whacky".

Hi everyone,
Whoa! Did I ever pick the right time to log on, or what? Another Scott letter!! How cool!!!! Thank you, Lea!

I voted for Aliens - thx Pink Paisley and others. Thank you! I think we're in second or third (quick glance) ... other shows are nowhere close.

K's Girl - I love, love, love your myspace.com site. I'd have added a comment on the site but I'm not registered there ... yet.

Being the cautious type, I have 1 word of warning about the Rotten Tomatoes website - though I'm glad they quoted SP and I have to say - it is a good film resource.
They collect professional film reviews (fr. major newspapers, mags., etc.). Each review gets a red tomato or an green asterisk (bad/good). When you search for a film title, the first thing you see is a giant %. (Then you can scroll down and read quotes from individual reviews.) The higher the % number, the better the reviews - as a whole. They love collecting snarky (bad) reviews. Now, I don't always agree with film reviewers ... but popular movies get 50+ reviews - and truth to tell - when most critics agree, they tend to be right. For ex. - if a film shows 90%, it's probably a good movie; if it's 20%, it's probably a dud.
I'm writing this because I'm not into the horror genre, so I'd never heard of Saw until they cast Scott. As it happens, I proceeded to look it up on rotten tomatoes! Found that Saw I and Saw II weren't panned (but not raves, either) ... and the Saw III reviews were devastating. Was rated in the teens (= terrible). Reviewers said it never should've been made; it's a classic example of greedy producers not knowing when to stop the sequels, etc.
I'm letting everyone know in case Saw IV gets "the Saw III treatment" from the critics. Mind you, the Saw franchise has already made more than $1B - so the producers are laughing their way to the bank. In sum: I just really, really hope SAW IV isn't a critical flop ... so personally I'm not going to spread the word about rottentomatoes.com until I see Saw IV's % rating at the end of October!!! "First, do no harm ... to Scott!"
(Good flipside- if it revives Saw for the critics - Scott's going to get noticed!!!!!!!)

Less than 30 days to Aliens in America on the CW, Mondays at 8:30 p.m. (eastern) ... YAY!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for that Lea. He is so sweet to take time to let us know how he is. I will be honest I love Luke Danes and it is going to be hard for me to let him go but I will probably also fall in love with Gary because Scott is such a fantastic actor.
