Really, isn't it all about being nice to each other? To be honest, I do not recall WandaRose saying much about her level of commitment to being a fan of SP but her posts were more directed at stories being shared? Not that I want to get involved but I choose to see the best in people and if Wanda says she is a fan then I am sure she is. Plus... would anyone even bother reading this board if they weren't a fan at some level?

Then again I could be totally of base but I do think that if someone says they are a fan to a degree then why not let them be just that?

On another note.. I just got a call that my computer needs its motherboard replaced. Sigh of relief that it wasn't the hard drive so I wont lose anything. Yay! It still takes 4-6 weeks but after being computer less for 2 weeks already I convinced my sister that she doesn't need her laptop and her pc. So as of the weekend I will be computermore again. lol

Ok, wow. I know I'm new here, but should the mods be taking sides with this stuff? I'm sorry if I shouldn't say that, but it isn't fair to judge new posts because of old posts and automatically think they're bad. If people thought the tone was bad I think it would've been nicer to ask in a PM instead of attacking in here. I'm just one little voice, but I think people should get a second chance too. If we want to bury the hatchet and start anew like SPA said, then I vote that's what we do and swear WandaRose in as a member.

I was so excited because I got to go to LA and see the CW screenings on Saturday. Don't hate me but I didn't like AiA. Gary stands around with his mouth open. A lot. The dad's not in it all that much either, it's mostly the mom, and I hope he gets more screen time in the other episodes. We need more Scott!!! There was too much insulting going on too, which is funny if it's written in a smart way but this didn't seem smart. There was one lady who laughed her head off at it though, so maybe it was me and my friend. We were disappointed and it made me kind of wish Scott said no and waited for something better. I love Scott and he always looks amazing so I'll be a good posse member and watch it and hope it gets better as it goes on.

Sending my heartfelt thanks to all of you - and to Lea. This is absolutely amazing!!! The likelihood of: a - getting the attention/notice of an L.A.-based celebrity actor who's currently filming out-of-town (and, as if that weren't enough!); b - he appreciates it - and us (AND as if that weren't enough); c - he takes the time to make sure we know that!! Really, really low odds there. We're talking lottery ticket (not the scratch-off kind!)

WOW!!!! It almost feels like my birthday (which is nowhere near!) The posse is the best ... as is the posse's inspiration/ reason-for-being.

p.s. I realize the moderators will handle this.... but since I was addressed directly, I wish to reply to "Wanda Rose": If I sounded like SPA, that's a huge compliment - thank you!! However, after your posts of a couple of weeks ago, my momentary delight was followed by a nagging feeling - does she think I'm not an authentic, individual poster?! If so - well - you are wrong (again).
I only joined ff in Aug. - expressly for this board - because I believe Scott's public recognition isn't commensurate with his talent, intelligence, and looks ... all the more remarkable when considering that acting is his "second career" ... after pro baseball. The likelihood of making it big in L.A. when you're in your mid to late 30's - let alone 40's - infinitesmally small ... like winning a major lottery many times! (still not the scratch-off kind)
On all the SP threads, for about 1 month now, I have 3 observations: (1) Scott's fans have tons of enthusiasm for him, his roles/characters, and his career ... and are very kind and supportive of one another. It's a special group. At the same time, I've been privileged to witness abundant evidence of those qualities in Scott. While he's not hard to look at(!), that alone wouldn't account for the dedication I see in other fans (besides me!) - during a short time period. The positiveness in thought and attitude is extraordinary - and it has just occurred to me - it's not coincidental. We're drawn to him for a reason. Likewise, he has responded to fans for a reason. (2) The only negative, contentious, and toxic exchange during this entire month came from you, and it was a real downer during what was otherwise a really exhilarating fan event. (3) At the end of your most recent post, "As far as I can tell, I was a good little SP fan last night." That's not positive or enthusiastic. The undertone is totally snarky. I for one really wish that if you need to "snark" about Scott or the subscribers to this board, you'd go somewhere else.

I saw the original pilot without Scott and I agree it didn't have much of the dad, but it's a pilot so that should change of the course of the season, I hope. I really doubt Scott would sign up if all he would be doing is looking pretty in the back ground.

Wanda, you can't honestly believe we would forget about your previous post, just because you posted something friendly. But fine. I will give you a second chance, but it's not up to me to induct you into the Posse.

As for the posters thinking we mods should stay out of it: it is our job to lead this board. Be aware of everything that goes on. If posters are attacking on another, we have to jump in. And sometimes that means taking sides.

And that's the end of it.

I agree. I think since it's just the pilot, it's like that, but after that, hopefully he will be in it more.
