A terribly demanding day today. I have half the evening spent with the police, because my car license plate was stolen. Hope you are doing well.

Ela, I hope everything went well for you today. I hate dealing with vandalism and theft. Nothing else gets done during the day when one deals with that.

It's a sad, sad, sad, day today in the baseball world, especially in L.A. I was chided all day and bombarded with e-mails and calls from within the office and outside -- about Manny. It was if I had a personal hand in this story!! It made me feel rotten all day -- and the Blue Boys lost at home for the first time to the Nationals -- THE NATIONALS for crying out loud. I guess even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every once in a while.

I'm tired now -- gonna hide my head underneath a couple of big pillows. Hopefully I'll feel better in the morning.

The police, your friend and helper. They have found my car license plate. I get it back and fortunately I need not obtain a new plate. But all the excitement was not good for my nerves.

Deborah, there are better days again. I will visit the training of my guys today. And in spite of illness, I will try to enjoy this weekend and the beautiful weather.

Hey girls!!

Gosh, it looks like you all have been through the "wars" this week...... I hope you are all OK and hopefully a little more upbeat now that the weekend is here.

Sorry I have not been contributing to the site very much this week, but I am now going to the gym 3 times a week, and when I come back I am so shattered I don't even have the strength to switch on my laptop. I logged on today for the first time in 5 days and it took me hours to get rid of all the Spam emails!!!

Weather here in London is looking good...... getting warmer all the time, so much so.... I even took out and re-washed all my summer wardrobe yesterday... hopefully I have not tempted faith!

Well..... I wish you all a fab and peaceful weekend!

Thank goodness the weekend has begun. A long, long week. I just got home from a body wrap and finished my work-week with grilled chicken and steamed veggies. Now I'm watching my Blue Boys trying to win in Miami (I think they are in Miami).

Oh my -- I've given up sports to actually play -- I'm a professional spectator.

Have lots of fun, Ela!! You be careful with your foot -- you need to walk before you can run!!

I've bought an state-of-the-art iPod, 5 books (includes writing journals), a bathing suit; and a kick-butt fastpitch softball bat for my niece's 13th birthday. I'm starting her off as a teenager on ther right foot, right???

It's a fan club tournament for the farewell of the old stadium. My team "Dynamo" gets at the moment a new stadium. new stadium
Today, moreover, was the last home match of my boys. So it is virtually also a nice seasonal end.

So.
The 5th of June becomes incredibly exciting. President Barack Obama will visit my hometown Dresden on this day.

Just returned from going to a baseball game -- 5 rows from the Nationals' Dugout -- got Ryan Zimmerman to sign a ball for me -- and I gave it to my nephew. My job is done!!

How is everyone here. Boy, has posting been really, really slim. Everyone on vacation??

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well!

Sorry I have not been contributing much to the site lately, but I have been really busy and have hardly logged on for the last few days.

This coming Thursday I am going to Italy for a week, so I am just getting ready trying to work out what clothes to pack. Apparently is VERY hot over there, but in London it's barely warm so I need some warm travel clothes too.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well even though I can see from your postings that you are really busy.

Take good care of yourselves and I'll "see" you all soon!

PS:< I watched an episode of Will & Grace this morning and the Gilmore Girls were mentioned! I had to laugh..... in one of the scenes Jack talks about one of the other characters and he says: <...we hate her.... even more than that "know it all" daughter in the Gilmore Girls!!>
