Hello my friends!! How is everyone today??

Weather here in London is just fab - very hot and almost sunny!!

I just booked my flight for my next trip to Italy at the end of May..... I had a few air miles to use up so I just went for it!! Hopefully the weather will be nice when I get there.

I hope you are all OK!!

It's "Tax Day" for us Yanks and I have been in a solemn mood all day; but it's over and done with now. Now I can concentrate on the fun stuff!! I want to go Italy!! Take me with you!!!!

Having a body wrap done on me tomorrow -- getting ready for bathing suit season!! The weather is suppose to be great tomorrow but suspect on Sunday. I'll take 75 degree weather whenever and wherever I can!! Like Ela wishes, I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I will be in Bellaria, a small seaside resort on the Adriatic coast near Rimini. What is your destination?

Come on.... you can do it..... it's Thursday.... just over 24 hours to the weekend!!

Weather here in London is unbelievable! Sunny and warm (21C) which..... for us is very suspicious...... there must be a storm brewing somewhere!!!

I just watched the movie "The Notebook" again.....and I must say, it has become one of my all time favourite films. It is so brilliantly done..... now I want to get the original book by Nicholas Sparks - what an amazing writer!!!

Well..... after much deliberation, I have finally chosen the paint colour for my apartment, so if I can get my act together this weekend I should drag my sorry behind down the local DIY store and actually buy the paint.

Naturally to complicate things the colour I have chosen is not available off the shelf, so it has to be mixed/prepared in-store..... hopefully they will duplicate exactly what I have chosen from the colour palette, because it took me ages to find what I wanted!!!

After that, I should start prepping the walls, door frames etc. and then finally start painting..... and let me tell you I can't wait, if only to get rid of the "patch quilt" effect I have all over the walls...... the result of days and days of testing paint samples!!!

I love the actual painting process..... but I hate the prepping and the cleaning up afterwards parts......
