Top of the morning to ya!

How you are all doing???

Happy St. Patrick's Day. I so wish I could be in New York, or Boston.... or Chicago..... you certainly know how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day over there!!!

We saw pictures on the News..... you guys even colour your rivers in green!!! How do you do that? I must remember that for next year.... and organise a trip over to see your parades!!

If they are anything like the Thanksgiving Parade in New York... they are just amazing!!

i never went to any of the parades but do wear green

i saw the stuff on the news but it 10 am here not much happen in nj with this day it just normal day in my town like every holiday usely is i just usely watch the stuff on tv.

The weather here in London has gone berserk since yesterday .... we have 17 degrees in the shade and people are walking around in kaki shorts, t-shirts and flip flops....... it's incredible.

Natasha Richardson, a beautiful actress and person, died this afternoon following a fall from a skiing accident. This is such a sad day today. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, her husband, Liam Neeson, her children, and her mother, Vanessa Redgrave. Rest In Peace, Natasha.

Another beautiful person who died needlessly because of not wearing a helmet while skiing. I wish we would push wearing helmets while skiing as much as we push wearing them during bicycle riding.

RIP Natasha who will always be Lindsays mom to me. Peace be with your family and expecially your sons.

I feel like I've been run thru the ringer -- lots of family stuff -- my sister was in a serious auto accident -- I received the telephone call about the accident from the police -- this is not the way to wake up earlier than your alarm set in the morning -- she's okay physically (got lucky); car totalled -- it was a miracle; and just trying to stretch myself in multiple directions -- and driving in excess of 200 miles in one day. It was a long, long day yesterday -- things are better today though!!

Deborah, so sorry to hear about your sister's accident. Those types of phone calls are scary. I'm very glad she is okay.

Thanx Tarty -- we got away with something there -- it could have / should have been a lot worse. We count our blessings each day, shouldn't we??!! Cars can be replaced -- people can't. All of us are on the mends -- the weekend should help heal -- especially March Madness on the front burner.

Deborah..... my goodness...... I am so relieved to hear your sister is fine!!! I am sure the whole family is still in shock though..... even though she's fine, it's only natural to keep thinking of how it could have turned out!!!

Try to stay calm and serene..... we are here for you and we send you our most positive "thoughts"!!!

Deborah..Hope your sister is doing well.

Been here trying to get over the mother of all colds or flu or whatever it is. I don't wish this on my worst enemy. Good thing I'm getting it over now instead of when I am in Europe.

We are having the first and second rounds of the West Regionals for March Madness. We seem to host it every other year. Going to the games tonight. Been watching on TV this morning. If you have a chance check out the new commercials featuring "Kirk". They are hilarious

L-U-C-K-Y !!! I haven't been in the middle of March Madness in over a decade!! Have lots and lots of fun.

Thank you for the good thoughts. I try not to dwell (too much) on what could have been. I take things at face value -- then contemplate what lesson is being taught to me. I think this means my sister has too much on her plate and needs to slow down a bit. I think she's thinking the same thing too -- because the consequences in the "fast lane" can be too great at times.

Enjoy B-ball everyone!! I'm ready for libations and the company of family and friends this weekend!! I'll be online all weekend but there may be a lot of "tipsy typing -- typsy tie-ping" !!!! (hiccup)
