It looks like we need some help now. Our posting count is too low to stay active.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can stay afloat until we get some news from Scott? We need just a little bit more time -- just a bit.

SPA, forgive my ignorance, but how does this post count thing work? How many do we need? Is it weekly, monthly? It doesn't seem fair when it's only natural for there to be an ebb between projects. We've never had to deal with "The No Scott Blues" for such an extended period of time.

Uh-oh!

Is the "15 posts per day" requirement an average of 15 posts per day over the month, e.g., 12 on one day and 18+ posts on another day?

Yes, it's for the whole board (not members) of 15 posts per day.

I was thinking about maybe putting together some type of Forum Board letter to Scott -- having each of us can add our thoughts/questions/comments--

Create a listing per se

Then it could be copied and sent on it's way to Scott. I still haven't received confirmation regarding Scott's agent -- and where to send fan mail to. I'll put in another inquiry -- maybe that question could be put on the list.

Good idea, SPA, but how would you know where to send it? We know he's not with Evolution anymore, but where oh where did he go? It would be nice to be able to just send him a postcard letting him know that he's not forgotten and we're rooting for him.

I hope he's not purposefully keeping an extremely low profile. The Saw films introduced him to a new, wider audience which is good, but some bad probably came with that. Some posts/comments I've seen by younger (I assume) Saw fans (from other places; not FF) are kind of stalkerish. I hope he hasn't had a bad experience.

I suggest topping your post count thread or making a thread and topping it letting visitors know what the board has been warned. Some visitors might not know that the board is in danger of being closed.

I was wondering if Scott is staying out of sight/keeping a low profile on purpose too. It does seem that way. That would also explain his reluctance to give out an address for fan mail. I hope all is well.

I think I have a person that could get a message to him. The most disturbing posts I've seen have been on IMDb -- This Forum has been extremely tame in comparison.

The people I've communicated with in the past regarding acting gigs seem to have been stalled or at best, extremely slow in processing, though things are moving along at a snails pace. I haven't been able to find anything regarding tv works.

The messages that Scott has given us beginning last January, to me, indicates that he's primarily focusing on works behind the camera -- writings/tv series/producing a movie -- and then there's his paintings. Last I heard, he was also in the throes of writing a book of poems.

I'll try to put out some more feelers an see what happens, though everyone I've talked to says "word is coming out soon (hopefully)".

So, I think I'll start a thread for questions and comments to be sent to Scott and see where we go from there. Hope this helps!!!

Looks like I'm going to miss them this year even though they are in Europe at the moment. I just got tickets to see Leonard Cohen at the end of the month though.

I'm so excited for you, Tarty. Can't wait for the details. Maybe you'll run into Scott! I sat behind comedian Steven Wright at a Bob Dylan concert once and got his autograph. You never know.
