Vicodin is not doing it's job!

I had my right upper wisdom tooth removed in 2005. Yes, I had a sore throat after. I had to be 'knocked out' because of complications. Sometimes the oral surgeon will give you Vistaril as an antiemetic/preop analgesic which really dries the throat, and makes it sore. If you were 'knocked out' during oral surgery, there are various reasons that would cause a sore throat. Try eating sherbet to sooth your throat when you are able, also helps with swelling.

I've never done this. But we will have certainly a lot of fun. In addition, we have very nice weather and a long week-end because Monday is a holiday.

Well the vicodin has finally kicked in. I'm doing well now, I was just being a big baby I think.

He said next time they'll have to knock me out if they ultimately decide to actually go through with it. They didn't this time because we go to a private family type dentistry and all of the people aren't always there unless they need to be so there was no anesthesiologist. But he wasn't told the full extent of where my wisdom teeth actually were and he thought it was just an extraction not surgery plus they had no way to monitor my heart and he kept rambling about cardiomyopathy or something. But next time they're doing it in a hospital because of my heart and my joints.

Part of hte reason I have painall over too is because I have a small mouth (I'm talking kid sized jaw, like a small 10-12 year old) and 2 people working on it at the same time so I got jabbed many places many times, and she got the sucky thing in the back of my mouth/throat so I think that may be why.

I'm happy that this vicodin is working though. He originally told me to take 2 ibuprofens and 1 or 2 vicodin but I'm very wary of pain medication in general because of my stomach problems and I really don't like the way they make me feel. (Stuff like morphine and novacaine always seem to have the opposite effect on me and cause insane amounts of pain)

I've been eating pudding and marshmallows (cause they melt when you first open them, yummy) My mom is gonna make me soup since I can't do most store bought soups due to my severe allergy to onion and having celiac's disease. I'm a bundle of joy, aren't I
Anyhow, rant over.

I hope you all are having an excellent Saturday!

Ela, you've never been go-karting?! You'll have to let us know how your first adventure goes, and congrats on your team winning!

I hope this very much. I drive with my car for my life with pleasure, but go-cart is something else. Hopefully I don't get stuck constantly in the tyre piles.

The first few times I went I was really freaked out but once you go a couple times (even in just one visit) it's much easier. I'm also a big chicken so that says a lot

But I'm sure you'll have fun, it's just like driving, only no real "laws".

Okay. Then tomorrow, I'll tell how it has been.

It is with us again after 2 a.m. and I cannot simply sleep. But I'm glad that I can talk here still with you.

Aww, I'm sorry you can't sleep. I hate when that happens. Luckily it's only 8 pm here, so I've got plenty of time to get tired

If you want to sleep though, I find that reading books that could never possibly interest me does the trick.

Maybe I should look some Scott, so that I have then at least one nice dream.

I do not have such books. I am occupied at the moment very much with my book. But I also read just a very interesting book. John Jakes "North and South". And now this is really no book with one should fall asleep.

SPCG: That's a long series of books about American history. It took me forever and a day before I finished the series. I'd go with Scott dreams any day of the week!!

I love your Avi!!!

Deborah, I have seen the series with Patrick Swayze as a teenager. Sometime I have bought to myself the books. I have started to read already so often, and have put aside it then over and over again. But now. I'm sure.

I'd go with Scott dreams any day too. Daydreams without end.

Also, please call me Ela, if you want.

CJ, unfortunately, my English is not so good to read already a book.

I got a filling once on one of my bottom wisdom teeth. And I wanted to have an anesthesia because it hurt a lot. And I remember I couldn't open my mouth for 3 days because the spot where she put the needle hurt soo much. Gawd, that was awful because I couldn't eat properly. And yeah, my throat hurt too.
Dentists are evil. But yay for Vicodin. There must be a reason why House is loving it.

Have a nice Sunday everyone. We're going to have a BBQ!
