I'm beginning my holiday baking on Wednesday night after work. One cookie recipe at a time.

Not a lot of decorating done yet - not that we do a lot in our apartment. We will add some touches, though. Focused on finishing my shopping right now. My sister come home for a visit at the end of January. She teaches ESL in Korea and couldn't take a break til then. We're going to postpone a lot of our celebrating for then.

I'm heading to DC for Christmas. My sister lives in Fairfax. I'm flying out at 6am x-mas morning.

Shouldn't be that bad. I am leaving out of a small airport. I live near Portland Maine. I hope it will be fine. What I'm worried about is my layover in JFK.

I think you'll be fine SPFan. You'll not be too far from me!!!! Flying into National Airport is an experience to behold -- to see the monuments as you fly in.

Still no snow yet for me either. A little slushy rain yesterday and I think we'll have that for a few days yet.

We had snow up here in Maine all day and night. 2-4 inches then rain on Tuesday.
