Poem -- I would love to read what he writes

Would you be likely to purchase:

An original Scott Patterson painting or sketch

or

A lithograph or reproduction

There is something in the wind regarding the above inquiry. We should know something soon!!

The realistic and fair to Scott and/or his people answer is Lithograph. I would definitely purchase a Lithograph. Honestly, the likelihood of purchasing an original Scott Patterson painting would depend on many factors. The size of the painting or sketch would be one factor. More importantly, the fact that it would be an original piece of artwork would likely put the purchase into the "in my dreams" category, especially a painting with the dimensions of the one Scott let us see last year.

Scott in a psychological thriller movie:

in the role of the psycho

or

in a law enforcement role

Exactly, Tarty.. But damn, it sure would be nice to own an original, wouldn't it?

I would LOVE to see Scott play a total maniac. I think he'd get a kick out of it too. Btw, I'm with you on the poetry, SPA. I am so curious about his writing!

Well, an inquiry has been made about the interest in Scott selling copies of his art to his fans -- he wants to keep it reasonable -- I indicated that this is truly a very good idea. I haven't heard any more about this, but the inquiry was made just a little while ago -- and Man, as we know, is busy as all get out with several projects, so, I think it's going to take a little bit of time. How do you all feel about this idea?? BTW: Scott is going to keep his original artworks for the time being (I asked and that was my response)
Oh Nogods, I've got to say without a doubt -- A movie date with Scott

I think I'd would venture him playing a politician -- one from "Joy-see"
It's a head-scratcher to visualize him in an Austen novel.

Owning an original painting created by Scott

or

Owning an copy of one of Scott's short stories or book of poems

Oh not to me. I always saw Luke as a modern day, working class Darcy. I thought Mathew Macfadyen was excellent in the 2005 remake largely because he exuded a similar kind of masculine strength, honor and integrity that Scott nailed as Luke Danes.

Boy, this is a tough one! I guess an original painting because it would be easier and less expensive to get a copy of his writing with no loss of quality. I do hope he shares more of his artwork and some of his writing with us soon!

Owning one of the original Luke flannels

or

one of Scott's baseball jerseys

Nogods. I see what you mean about turning an Austen story to modern day -- I was thinking in the story era.

Your "This-n-That" is a hard one to choose; I'd love one of each; but if truth be told -- a flannel for nightwear would be heavenly.

Scott playing a role of a father

or

Scott playing a role of a romantic lead

Scott playing the role of a romantic lead. (That was a difficult choice. Scott shines in both types of roles.)

Boy, these are tough choices! I'm going to choose Scott as an author.

Scott as a painter?

or

Scott as a poet?

I love both, but I'll go with "Scott as a painter"

How about:

or

Scott playing a romantic lead
