| The way I see it, he already is a great father figure. It's important that she knows Chris, but Luke's more of a father figure than Chris has been. It was Luke blubbering like a baby at her high school graduation, not Chris. And my post is turning this into a competition between Luke and Chris. | Luke is a great father figure for Rory. He has always been there for her and to help Lorelai when Chris wasn't around. I love that he thinks that no guy is good enough for her unless he's a prince. | I love that he always tried ot protect Rory (even with the not-so-good results). | I also like how she takes care of him. In DUaV, she'd rope Jess into helping out at the diner while Luke was preparing his uncle Louie's funeral. | aww this is a great idea for a thread.
