It felt unnatural to me. I mean, did they talk over the last few weeks? It felt like it, but I doubt that happened. I loved that she went over to the hospital, and I am glad Luke found out from her. I really hope he will fight for her now. The last scene seem to indicate that.

Maybe a stupid question, but which movie was playing at the hospital? I mean, obviously, it reminded Luke of Lorelai, so I was thinking The Way We Were, but I have no idea.

The movie was Philadelphia Story. If you Google it, you can get a plot synopsis that will explain why it was fitting...

yes I totally have to agree. They need to wake up Lorealai and Christopher don't belong together, Lorelai and Luke do!

I hate when they do that, it makes waiting a living hell, it's hard enough as it is to hold on for a week, but then it's several weeks and a cliffhanger, can you imagine

I don't want L/L to get back together while she's married to Christopher. I'd be fine if she comes to a realization and leaves Christopher because she loves Luke -- but the idea of an adulterous relationship, even if only momentarily, makes me sick.

I can't say anything about an adulterous relationship, 'cause my godmother had one at our house non the less, but well her (now ex)husband was a real jerk and an a**h*l*. She's toghether with that guy now and well we laughed a lot about it, in her case it was a good thing
