Today's p.m. rerun was Lost and Found - fantastic!!! Lorelai joins Luke to check out a rental apartment ... pretends to be his wife "during the season, why I could answer the door dressed in cellophane, but if I'm not wearing a Yankees cap, he won't even notice! Oh I know, Snuffy, it could be a Mets cap!"
Then there's the the single bed lecture starting with the "patented Luke Danes date" - 'meet at the Timberland store, trip to the batting cages - back to Luke's apartment'
Luke: "Any amount of money if you'll stop now!" (Love this line ... )
Lorelai: "And then she sees it - your teeny tiny single bed ... and Jess' feet sticking up in the air 'cause you still haven't gotten rid of the body."
All quotes are paraphrased. I LOVE every moment of Luke - and Luke and Lorelai - in this episode!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I'm shouting !

The writing just doesn't get any better than that! (Plus I always liked Rory and Jess - can't explain why.)

I want to call Luke "Snuffy" from now on!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the whole scene ... and definitely the "wife" part. I remember hoping they'd get an idea! (duh!) Actually every scene SP did in that ep. is golden ... it was perfect L/L!! Thx for noticing, Susi!!!!
