I loved the Luke/April moments from the last ep.
The way he stayed around April all the time and how she "opened up" to Luke about her 'feelings' for Freddy.
The best moment was when she called him an overprotective dad. He was totally beaming

Yeah, I absolutely loved them in the last ep. She really sees him as her father. Maybe also still a little as a grown up to hang out with, but definitely as her dad too.

Do you think we're going to see much of a Luke/April story arc in S7? Or will it be overshadowed by other storylines?

Since I am in a negative mood, I say there are 2 possibilities: overshadowed or non-existent.

I think it really depends on what happens with Lorelai and Luke. If they resume their friendship or get back together, we may see some development in Luke’s relationship with April. If Lorelai and Luke never speak again, we will be lucky to see Luke and April together in the background of a scene.

I really hope that now L/L aren't together anymore, we'll get to see a bit of April. Also because I don't have any idea what other storyline Luke could have.

One thing i really hope we see from Luke's relationship with April is her asking questions about his mum and dad.

I agree. I think that a big part of Luke's sl for S7 has to be him figuring out his relationship with April. I think he needs to figure that out before he can figure anything else in his life out.

I love that April is staying with him for 2 weeks! It would be boring if she was the perfect daughter and he would be the perfect dad, but I guess Luke has been through a lot with Jess already. But this is a girl, so I am sure different problems will arise.

I love the Luke/April dynamic in the last ep! I really hope they will keep this up. Somehow, it didn't feel/look so forced, like I felt it did in the first eps. This works for me.

I know what you mean, I had that feeling the first few eps too. It felt more relaxed now.
I loved how he talked to April about this "juggling" thing.

I'm curious as to how things are going to go with April. I think that Luke's going to fight, and turn to Lorelai for support.
