I have no idea if ASP watched season 7 or not but I can't believe she would not have heard about it. I'm sure she knows a lot more than she is letting on.

Movies are nice -- a GG movie would give us closure -- but a Season 8 would have been way better in my view. 22 weeks to look forward to and that's 22 hours instead of 2.

I'm really tired of the reality tv.....

22 eps would be closer to 16 hours

But I doubt a S8 will happen, a TV movie or maybe mini series say 2x2 so with the ads cut maybe 3 hours total

agreed, Lancer. I was speaking metaphorically in several areas. And, it's on my wish list -- this will in all likelihood, remain a wish.

Again the biggest hurdle with a TV movie is getting the whole cast together, now maybe for some of it it can be shot in stages if people are not available.

I hope they work it out.

I am with you, Deborah, I really really would love one final Season to right many of the wrongs of Season 6 and Season 7, but I think the best we can get is a mini season or a mini series where we get like 6-8 hours worth of GG! I also think that it might be the way to go, because as we have said before there is just too much to resolve for a 2 or 3 hour movie!

Unfortunitely, I think initially back when season seven was coming to a close, the best we would have gotten then was 13 to 16 episodes. That's where it sounded like it was heading.

Now a year later, I'm thinking the best we would get would be a two hour movie.

I don't think it's ever happened where a show was cancelled/not renewed, was gone off the air waves then came back again with a new season.

I am sorry to say that I disagree with you, Lulu. If ASP comes back with any kind of GG, I think she would demand for more than 2 or 3 hours. She will demand to make her mark bigger than that! We probably won't get the 10-13 hour mini season, but even half of that is better than a 2 hour movie.

Hell, even a dvd only movie, an internet movie, Id take it!

But isnt the set stuff gone? For some reason I dont think Lauren would come back to do it
