GG 7.06 - Go Bulldogs! discussion thread
Christopher talks Lorelai into visiting Rory at Yale during Parents' Weekend, and Lorelai is surprised to find that Richard and Emily are also there. Trying to prove how cool he is, Christopher invites all of Rory's co-workers on the Yale Daily News to an expensive lunch where they all drink too much, and the meal ends abruptly when Rory insists they leave to cover a breaking story.
Meanwhile, Luke meets April's swimming coach (guest star Mia Cottet), who convinces him to take her adult swimming class. When the coach flirts with him, Luke asks her out on a date. __________________

The interaction between Luke and April is awesome. I love seeing them comfortable and with a real relationship. They're so cute. And I love how Luke got Lane to 'babysit.' So clueless, but so well-meaning.
There was so much Luke hotness in this episode, I wasn't entirely sure I was going to make it through. I'm glad Luke went on a date -- and I'm even more glad it was a non-starter. I think it would have been weird (and fake) if Luke had gotten into a relationship right away. I was seriously wishing I was that woman's hands when he was in the pool. __________________
