GG 7.02 Discussion thread -- That's What You Get, Folks, For Makin' Whoopee
Lorelai turns the house into an Asian-themed wonderland to cheer Rory, who is upset that she and Logan had to cancel their trip to Asia.
Discuss away, friends -- I'll be back later to post my thoughts. But a preview: L/L made me sad. I am lovin' Rory like a $2 whore these first two eps SP in the scene with the gray t-shirt?  __________________

 I just watched the ep. I totally loved it. I could have done without the whole Lane-pregnancy thing, but still! I mean, Luke punching Chris is just too good for words.  I HATE that L/L are apart now and that they seem to accept that fact. It really breaks my heart, especially that last scene. Shows how much they really do love each other. I just hope we get to hear them say it to each other...SP rocks! He's been amazing these first eps! ETA: Did I miss something? But I thought ASP was not involved with GG anymore? I didn't know she was staying on as an exec producer! I like that. __________________

I cried for L/L (shh, it's only because their real- taking a cue from Colleen
 ) I thought the episode was just so awesome I loved Rory, I'm glad she got angry. Zach seemed different, was it the same actor?  I loved the Lane's pregnancy storlyline, hopefully we'll get some good Lane stuff this year. Plus Rory was an awesome friend to her and it's been a while since we saw that. -I cheered when Luke punched Chris. That's about it, season 7 while sad is so awesome. I believe DR was a good choice. |

I loved SP again in this episode.
Loved the punch so much.  Poor Luke on the defensive in the first LL meeting and then all defeated in the second thinking he's not good enough for Lorelai, (that's how i saw it anyway) he's setting her free because he loves her. That scene at the end just proves how much they are meant for one another IMO. I thought Lorelai was going to get rid of the waffle maker? I really loved the Luke/Liz and Luke/TJ scenes. Especially with Liz, i'm glad he can talk to her and TJ about his life.  I second that Colleen about the Luke scene with the grey t-shirt, the tattoo peaking out some was an awesome bonus. Rory was great, i really loved her speech to Lorelai. I'm not sure how i feel about Lane being pregnant yet.  |
