Deborah, I'm curious. If the movie is now hitting the festival circuit, and you saw it at a screening, are you still not allowed to talk about it?

I'd like to talk about it but from what I've read last year, the producers/director of the movie did some re-shoots after the viewings of people from all over (me included) the rough cut. They changed directions -- I'm not sure if the storyline changed too. So, what we talk about may not be what the movie is about anymore. I was waiting for more official reviews to see what was what first. I'll see if more information can be found.

I think we might have to wait another year, and this movie might come out on dvd. It's certainly not coming to theaters on the east coast. Though I have been told that some indie movies will make the indie film festival circuit for 4-5 years -- I find that astounding.

What concerns me a bit is that the star/producer/director of the movie indicated that he was doing some re-shoots -- way back -- after the movie first completed. If he wanted to tweak the movie with more shots, then great. But if the re-shoots are to take place of other scenes, I just hope that it doesn't affect any of Scott's scenes. I only saw the very first, rough-cut. I just hope it's not totally different now.

I'm wondering if to save money......they might want to sell online to download the movie. A friend of mine told me that an independent movie can make the film festival rounds for 4 or 5 years. I hope that doesn't happen with this film.

I agree. I would love to see it released, but I am not sure that will happen. It has been a while and there's not a lot of chatter. I will hope for the best though!

I will continue to wait patiently to see our SEXXYY Scotty in this film as we all have remained for the past two years-if I remember correctly the movie was supposed to be released in the Fall of 2009?...At any rate seeing Scott is definitely worth the wait & I'm a fan of indie films so looking 4ward to seeing the talent that Scott brings to his role in FB<3

Title Change to "A Beer Tale"??? I'm wondering if that new title works -- or, if the storyline has changed so much that I won't recognize the movie I saw first-hand.

SPA, I hope you are right. I think sticking with the original vision of the writer is usually always best. Small changes are ok, but as we saw with the Event, it can lead to a train wreck. Hope A Beer Tale stays on track as far as story goes.

Well, since it has to do with the brewery they have. I'm thinking A Beer Tale may work better
