I'm really depressed about this. I can see Scott slipping away...Not that he won't be doing great things, just off the radar.

I hate to think about that.

I really liked Aliens. Unfortunately my sadness about its demise has been going on for a while. iTunes for some idiotic reason has stopped making the episodes available. The last ep I got to see was "One Hundred Thousand Miles." I've written to them countless times but I get no help. They just tell me to request full season and nothing more. When I do, there's no response. So in addition to the terrible CW, iTunes is now kicking loyal customers in the shins for no good reason.

Had to get that out. RIP Aliens.

NGNM: I'm having the same problem here. The response I get to my inquiry is that they are not at liberty to disclose what the agreements are that they have with networks on the amount of episodes they can carry, In other words -- be lucky you got what you did. I'm SMAD about it too.

I keep thinking that Scott isn't going to want his fans to dissipate to the 4 winds. I'm hoping he comes up with something(s) spectacular for just "us."

Here's the the cute little show that could -- but the network that wouldn't.

Hey maybe with his less busy schedule (if that's the case) he can stop by and drop a line or two here.

sorry, just wishful thinking. Sometimes when moderately popular actors have a ton of downtime, they connect with fans. Scott seems like the type to do so.

Itunes can be great sometimes, others not so much. I used to buy all the eps from Itunes as well but stopped when I started recording them.

But part of the problem could be an issue with the CW and Itunes..kinda like the NBC/Itunes issue.

I dunno. But AiA better be released on DVD!

Razzle thanks for bringing that over, did they expect the show just to live on word of mouth?

Pity the AiA site is gone and the shows not even done, GG ended a year ago but I've paid and kept the site up for the fans.

It's a pity also that the legal DL is gone (not that I could use it outside the US) it's a wonder considering how easy it is to get the illegal DL and the lack of restrictions place on that way.

Hope the DVD comes out soon but given the shows treatment I wouldn't hold my breath.

I am feeling the same thing NoGods. One of the reasons my heart isn't into the project at the moment.

I really hope he realizes his fan base and keeps in touch.

Aww, Lulu...I feel your pain, I really do, but I think this project will remind Scott how much we love him. Maybe he thinks a lot of his fans lost interest after GG ended because the ratings for Aliens were so low. Perhaps he feels that Luke was who people really loved---not him. He's wrong if he thinks that, and I can't wait for him to get that message loud and clear. He's a confident guy, but a modest one too, and I love how he balances those two aspects of his personality. One thing is certain--he will never stop appreciating his fans.

ITA with NGNM, lulu! In fact - he proved that with the message he just sent us!! He's totally touched by his fans. If you can - listen to the interview he gave by phone to Starry Magazine late last year I think. It's ~11-12 minutes long. Toward the end he gives us a big shout-out. Huge - and unambiguous. "I love my fans!" Direct quote ... et cetera It will do your heart good!! Plus ... this year - we're going to blow him away!!!!

I hate losing Aliens cause I loved the show and Scott in it. I also hate the thought of losing that nice exciting feeling when you know you're going to see him in something new this every evening. And I normally avoid using the word "hate" - something my Mom taught me - better to say "I don't like" - but it's unambiguous hate where the network is concerned. And I-tunes.

Question NGNM - can you watch American VHS tapes?!
