Raja explains to his class how close he and Justin are, prompting rumors about the two being a couple to spread throughout the school. Thus, Justin turns to Claire for help, who advises him to completely ignore Raja. This later causes Justin to be more alone than ever because Raja instead befriends the geekiest kid in school. Meanwhile, Gary decides to get involved when Claire decides to call it quits with Jeffrey.

Okay I'm confused. I went to the CW site and their Director's Cut is from Rocket Man.

So is that tonights episode, or No Man an Island

Scott looked good tonight! I am glad he was in it a little more than last week. Was it his idea for Jeffrey to play "In Your Eyes"? I couldn't tell. I know Jeffrey said it was his idea.

So Franny was the stable one this time. And Gary doesn't seem geeky to me; but amuzing. And I'm surprised he's not playing the overprotected father. And what's with that bird orange juice pitcher -- unless it's a pitcher of milk?

The boys' storyline was a little awkward. I totally sympathized with Raja wanting to explain that his best friend Justin is who he'd want with him on a desert island. I mean, this isn't grade school. I thought it was a little immature for high school students, but maybe that's me. I guess Justin and Raja are more alike than they both realized.

Claire is going to be hell-on-wheels, I can just tell. There's something in her future.

All in all, a cute episode. I have to say that I was concentrating on Scott, Claire and Jeffrey more than the boys though. I don't know why.

Scott looked really good. I love him in jeans. I thought the flash back was pretty funny too. The only thing I don't care for is that Scott seems to not move his neck or something. Tonight it seemed like he had a stiff neck in some scenes. I'm sure no one will understand what I mean, I think I am rambling.

I agree with you, Deborah, I wasn't so interested in the boys storyline. I was concentrating more on Scott and Jeffrey. Claire seems a little pointless to me. And I agree with you too that she will be hell on-wheels.

Personally, I don't know why but although Scott and Amy work well together in a scene they look weird to me as a couple. That relieves me some, because I don't want to connect Scott too much with another female co-star right now. Amy is cute, but Scott is much more attractive than she is, not that they have to be equal in attractiveness. Most of the time, on TV, it is the other way around like in "The King of Queens" or "According to Jim", the list goes on and on.

I actually liked seeing Frannie and Gary snugggled on the couch, his rubbing her leg, nice to see a married couple show affection (you listening ASP, it could have been done.)

Cracks me up they seem to drink alot of beer LOL. And the way that Scott holds the beer bottle (I notice he holds it the same way as Luke) seems odd to me.

I liked his scene with Jeffery and the flashback, that was funny. Wish It would have been a bit longer but his Aw craps cracked me up, so high pitched and freaked out.

Not feeling the Clare character yet.

Raja was sweet and didn't worry about the fact that he was hanging with Small Paul. Glad Justin realized that it's better to have his friend then to worry what people think.

I thought tonight's episode was very cute. I'll agree with most & say I focused more on Gary, Jeffery and Claire most....mainly b/c I do watch it for Scott, but also b/c it hooked me more. Love that "Say Anything" moment. It was a major squee for me, since I love that reference...and the "You complete me." I hope they explore Claire more, b/c she has a "plastics" feel to her right now, but there's more to play with.
The flashback was funny...but I wish the shot would have been better.

Also, I like what we're seeing from Scott/Amy....there's not intense chemistry, but they work well together. I too am not ready to see either Lauren or Scott share intense chemistry with anyone just yet.

Can't wait for next episode!
