By continuing their friendship. And maybe even seeing Peyton trying to help NH mend things without interfering perse. Maybe just talking to both of them about the other, things like that. And maybe seeing Haley move in with Peyton instead of Brooke. Peyton had an empty house all to herself. I can see Peyton being the first to forgive Haley, that's more in character for her. And seeing Haley supporting Peyton with the Ellie stuff would've been great too.

I would have loved to have seen that
 I did like seeing Haley and Brooke live together though, plus I would have had Larry and maybe even Ellie living there. |

I just think Peyton needed friends during the Ellie stuff and it was almost like she was alone in it which was too bad.
