| Sara Ellis - "Deadline" - White Collar Episode Descussion Thread When a magazine journalist's life is threatened, Diana goes undercover as her assistant to protect her while Peter and Neal investigate the subject of the journalist's story. Guest stars Jayne Atkinson and Moran Atias. Sorry I didn't post a thread up. Last night was hilarious carry on. | |||

| Overall, this past episode was one of the better episodes of the season so far. It really kept my attention. I liked that we got to see more of Dianna's character. I didnt really like Christy. Her introduction, seemed so out of place and forced. Like the writers wanted to make sure the audience understood that Diana and Christy were lesbians. Their kisses were awkward to watch. I didnt like the dinner much either. Too contrived. In regards to Neal/Peter, I think the writers are having way too much fun with Neal trying to elude Peter and Peter trying to catch Neal in his lie. I keep waiting for Neal to show an ounce of remorse or guilt over the ordeal, but nothing, at least from what I can recall. And the way Peter is going about it, doesnt make me fear for Neal at all. Sara and Neal were adorable. That is all. __________________ Hilarie Burton; Owning it. Icon-SmartGurl07 | |||

| I thought it was an enjoyable episode. Although this was the one episode that I tried to get my mother to watch with me. She clearly wasn't too impressed because she left the area to go watch some other show just about as soon as Hilarie came onto the screen. I still don't know how to feel about that actually. Anyway it was fun to see Diana having to be someone's assistant because it was what made me continue to like her throughout the episode even when the stuff concerning the dinner seemed to fall flat for her and her lover. Neal and Sara were the only ones that seemed to save that scene. Not only did it feel forced, but it didn't work and felt out of place in the episode. Maybe the writers are trying a little too hard to come up with scenes to include certain characters in, just saying. I always love the Neal and Peter stuff. You can tell that the writers are having fun with it and that they are excited about it. As some one that spends enough of their time writing role play posts for characters I admire that they are able to do that because as long as they continue to do that I feel the longer the show will keep going in the direction it's suppose to. Something just tells me that Peter's trying a lot harder to supposedly catch Neal if he tries selling one of the paintings than Neal is trying to get out of New York City. I will say in all bias though that my favorite moment of the episode when you could hear Hilarie's voice before you even saw her when she was on the other side of Neal's door. It was just the one moment where I got really hyped to see her on my screen for the week. | |||

| I really enjoyed the episode. I thought the setup was pretty good, but there has been better. Sara and Neal were at their best when they had some alone time, but I enjoyed the dinner scene too (their part anyway). __________________ Don't mess with Sara Ellis! | |||
