Post away your discontents, disappointments, frustrations about Peyton and S2 OTH in general.

Anything from lack of character development, lack of screen time, her hair and clothing and contrived storylines etc. Comment on anything and everything that make you go WTF? and Hell no! when you're watching (that's if you're still watching.)

This thread is for the dissatisfied viewer. So if you are loving this show at this moment, this thread isn't for you as the title implies.

I hate season 2 I think it all has been fake. I will come back with more rantings.

But she's not nearly as great as S1 Peyton. Where did bitchy Peyton go?

Ah where to begin? First off, let it be known, I adore and love Hilarie, and nothing can change that.. even this crappy show will not make me love her less. And although I've been really frustrated with Peyton and her actions lately, she's still the reason why I would watch this show.

The hair: Bring her natural curls back. I.do.not.like.her.new.hair. Remember the Felicity rule? Whatever happened to that? I'd rather have Peyton have straight hair than the big, ugly curls she's been sporting lately. What happened to her S1 stylist? Oh yeah.. left with the credible writers of S1

The clothes: Do not make her wear bright colors. It doesn't suit her well and her personality. Please do not make her wear that hideous orange shirt again or I will effin scream. Now, look at the last episode, they made her wear her Ramones shirt again. Now, why can't they do the same thing in real time. Now I know people in high school do change what they wear, but give me an effin break. We are talking a few months, the same effin school year, since season 1 ... be realistic here. I want to see her Dashboard shirt again. The black leather jacket she wore in CCIPC and SEHC.

I'll post more rants about storylines, screentime, LP later on. <sigh> Venting is good.

There's another shirt ... Mommy's little monster? I think she wore it on TLY ... the rake boy scene.

Which brings me to rant #2:

Where the hell is LARRY?

I love their relationship. I loved their scenes. And the writers are really making Larry appear like a bad father. He is never around. His daughter got suspended, tried coke, and adopted a single father (and gave him money). How come he didn't know about these?!?!?!??!?!? Lack of follow through yet again. Didn't he promise to be home more often? Oh yeah, season 1 didn't happen. What the hell am I saying here.

For me S2 started to get boring after the frist hiatus...when Jake came back.
I like his character, and since Lucas won't come to his senses, I don't mind Jake and Peyton being together, I just didn't like the fact that he moved in and they became this happy little family.
Or the fact that the cocaine storyline disappeared the second he showed up.

The storyline I hated was Dan hiring Jules to make Keith fall in love with him...this is a storyline I expected from like the O.C.

But most of all, I miss the basketball!

I'm too tired and too lazy at the moment. But as for now I'm going to say what I need to say. S2 sucked ever since the beginning. I knew it, so I quit on it. I still watch it from time to time just to kill minutes of my hands. Other than that, I don't know what else to say. My mind cant think.

I agree with y'all...S2 is just grrr. Peyton will always be my favorite character, but the old bitchy Peyton needs to come back. Where the hell did she go?

Ohhhhhh, I love this thread.

Okay I guess the thing that bugs me the most is the change in Peyton... Season 2 picked up like what the next day after Season 1. How can someone change so much in 1 freakin day?! Totally unrealistic. People change over the course of their life...not in a day, week whatever. I love Hilarie because she played such a different character from herself. Moody, b i t c h y, complicated, insecure...the list goes on and on. Season 1 Peyton was REAL. Not all teenagers are happy go lucky all the time. After everything she has went through it's totallly BS to see her so happy all the time. No guy can take all your problems away...not Jake, Lucas, Nathan....nobody.

In other words, I feel so disrespected as a women to see a kind of storyline that tries to tell teenage girls/female viewers that a man can come along and take away all of your problems. Because at 16 years old a boyfriend can change overnight. What does Peyton have to fall back on when a man's not there? I want to see a stong female character for once.

Peyton is just the character for that. She put Lucas in his place when he needed it. Why is she so weak now?

Word dude. Its so unrealistic. Damn, if it is really *this* easy, I want my own fkin Jake too.

What happened to her drug storyline again? Oh yeah, it was dropped. Pfffft.

And how come her locker storyline ended up being about Brooke and Brooke using it to break up with Felix? WTF F F F F F F!?!??!?!
