it was fairly easy, i got the scissor hands and a burnt hat and then i just bought a striped black and red cardigan thing lol.

i finished my minnie mouse dress. i bought a red tutu skirt and i glued white dots to it. its cute.


I have lazy weekends every weekend.

I'm doing nothing this Halloween weekend apart from seeing friends for lunch and I have alot of work to do with my business

Doing nothing has got to be one of my favorite hobbies Seriously though, especially after a busy period, I have no energy for ppl and activities involving ppl.

Yep. And, for me at least, it's very easy to indulge and isolate myself too much, so I have to make a conscious effort to sometimes socialize when I don't really want to, lol.

I'd recommend giving The Great Gatsby a chance. I had to read it for uni and liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Primarily because Fitzgerald's writing style was nicer than I expected. His use of literary devices and just the way he puts words together is enjoyable imo. For example, "Conduct may be founded on the hard rock or the wet marshes but after a certain point I don’t care what it’s founded on," has got to be one of my all time favorite quotes. The whole passage where it is from resonated with me.

I went as Jason one year but had one of those cheap hockey masks and used one of my old coats and just ripped shreds and cut holes in it too make look even more moldy and give it the grunge look Jason used with wearing old clothes

There's some good Halloween costumes out there but I think people take their costumes a bit too far sometimes as they're not scary at all. They just seem to wear any fancy dress costume really

Thanks for the info about the Great Gatsby, Tamara. I did read the preface and a few pages but put it down rather quickly. Maybe I was tired because the prose was just going over my head.
