6.11: We Three (My Echo, My Shadow and Me)

Lucas pulls Peyton out of Karen's Cafe very quickly and then are car comes by and seems like they are going to run them over. We think Dan or his driver was driving and possibly Brooke in the back seat, but we don't know that for sure. They start running when the car comes to a hault because he is heading towards another car coming his direction. Not sure the exact details, but Lucas pulls out a gun and shoots, then turns around and points the gun toward the car chasing them. That was all for this section of the scene.

Chad is pointing the gun, sets it down and puts his hands up. Then it seemed as though someone maybe gets out of the car or something and holds up a gun because Skills comes running through and knocks Lucas out of the way by tackling him to the ground. Next thing he gets up and then Hilary has a look of terror on her face and collapses onto the ground, appearing to either have been dead or passed out. From the looks of it we are guessing she was shot because Lucas is holding her and rocking her in his arms.

Summary from the 612 sides for LP: Julian and Lucas discuss his upcoming trip to LA to meet the director(Dixon) for his movie. Peyton gets a bit edgy with Mia and it seems she's expecting a phone call. Lucas and Peyton have a scene in her office here Peyton seems to be hiding something from Lucas. Just as Lucas and Dixon discuss a possible tragic ending for the movie, we find out that it was the doctor from whom Peyton was expecting the call.

I think is should. Having it revealed when they pick up months later completely takes the weight and wind out of what that moment should be.

Ok so besides the fact my TV has a B/W mode, if you need to do it manually, just go to the picture settings on your TV and turn the colour down to zero. That makes everything black and white and hey presto, no need to worry about the crappy colours.

That would be great if we found out Peyton was pregnant in 612.

My TV is still showing color even at zero.

I've been going back and forth on the 6x12 cliffhanger, I feel like it will either be the audience being led to believe Peyton has cancer throughout the episode, then she gets a call from her doctor and then the ep. fades out before anything is revealed, or there's a cancer misdirect again but then both she and the audience learn she's pregnant in the CODA.

Either way, the first episode back from hiatus will be told in all flashbacks per Mark's style anyway.

If this is going to be a Mark style end cliffhanger then you'll probably just see Peyton's face in shock. Then 613 will pick up like any episode and the news that was given to her on the phone will be revealed sometime during the episode. Probably at the end of 613. Until then Peyton will be on edge and you'll be able to notice that she has her mind elsewhere.

That's what I am thinking, except that Chad said no one was pregnant through script 12. I just wonder if things changed before filming.

Wow, after 6.11 airs, we know pretty much zero about the next episodes. Would it kill them to hire some actors other than ones from Wilmington? No doubt we will see the same old doctor, the one who seems to specialize in everything.

If during all of 612 we are lead to believe that Peyton could have cancer and pregnancy isn't even mentioned, then the time to reveal she is pregnant would definitely be at the end of 612. I mean, that would be the whole point of a misdirect through the whole episode, wouldn't it? To reveal in the end what is really going on?

It would be different if at the end of 612, we find out that she could either have cancer or be pregnant to leave that as the cliffhanger and reveal what is going on in 613.

6.12 is supposed to be a big cliffhanger episode, right? Didn't that article in EW state that? It doesn't appear that there is any cliffhanger involving NHJ though. The whole Sam disappearance is supposed to happen, Brooke's attacker revealed, and Peyton's situation will be the cliffhanger storylines, I guess. Nothing too earth shattering.
