KEITH AND JULES PREPARE TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE - It's Keith (Craig Sheffer) and Jules' (guest star Maria Menounos) wedding day, and the event has turned the town upside down. Brooke (Sophia Bush) asks Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) to take her to the wedding as his date, Nathan (James Lafferty) makes an important decision involving his marriage to Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz), and Jake (Bryan Greenberg) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) take a big step in their relationship. Meanwhile, Karen (Moira Kelly) and Andy (guest star Kieran Hutchinson) discover Jules' secret relationship with Dan (Paul Johansson). Billy Dickson directed the episode written by Stacy Rukeyser.

but i will just say, please respct people's opinions about tonight's episode. I have a feeling there will be ALOT of different thoughts about this episode in general, and especially about Peyton in tonights episode so....be respectful and share your opinions

The writer have just ruined JP for me. and I know that there are JP fans here so I wont try and step on anyone's toes. I am just completely disappointed in Jake and Peyton. Who know you could go from loving Peyton to hating her in one episode. What a mistake they made. I should have known that the big step was sex I mean what else could it have been.

I'm extremely disappointed in Peyton's character right now too. Yeah, the whole sex thing was just okay, whatever. It was like, "Let's make J/P get together right before Nikki comes back." What I don't like is how different Peyton is now that Jake is back. Is this the same girl who tried cocaine and was tempted many times after that? Is this the same girl who was an emotional mess after the dyke issue? Is this the same girl who almost lost it completely after spilling a drink on her mom's dress. We were seeing Hilarie at her best in the first part of the season. Now we are seeing goofy grinning Peyton at every turn. I like angsty Peyton.

Another thing - who invited Jake and Peyton to the wedding? Has Keith ever talked to either one of them? I hate contrivances.

I thought that Nikki looked great.

I think that we can stick a fork in L/P.

I would hardly say that you can stick a fork in L/P. If anything, this episode just proves it more to me that Lucas likes Peyton. Honestly, it's like Mark said, "Nothing in Tree Hill is what it seems." *edited*

As for the Peyton character thing, I liked her tonight. Yeah, the sex was quick, but I think that it's kinda a good sign for L/P fans. Think about it, she's slept with Nathan, look how that turned out. Think of it as the opposite of what it's supposed to mean; the guys that she does sleep with aren't going to last. What she had with Lucas went beyond sex. Trust me. It's the way I look at J.Lo and who she's going to end up with; P.Diddy. He's the only guy she didn't marry. Lucas is the only guy she didn't sleep with.

As for angsty Peyton, you know she's coming back. With that stalker bitch back in town, I can promise you some angsty stuff. Maybe there'll even be a cat fight again, if we're lucky.

I actually enjoyed tonight's episode. Everything was going my way until Nicki showed up.

Britney your not even an LP fan are you? Its really cool and I loved reading it but my faith is stiil shot. We LP fans have been disappointed so many times its not even worth it anymore.

Hmm...Peyton. Who is Peyton? Did we even know the real her? Okay that's harsh. But I seriously don't like Peyton at the moment. I don't hate her al though I could if I tried. No point of posting not worth it at the moment. Disappointment can't even express it.

I personally, am neither a hardcore Brooke/Lucas fan nor am I a Lucas/Peyton fan. I don't mind either couple, though if I had to choose, I'd pick Lucas/Peyton, but Brooke/Lucas doesn't bother me. I just really believe that Lucas was talking about Peyton and until I hear the words; "I love/like Brooke Davis' come out of Luke's mouth, I don't believe it for a second. I don't. He has yet to say it and after six episodes, I think that proves my point.

I just saw the JP scene. . I'm not too worried. Hmm. Weird how my mind works. I'm still pissed at Peyton for the lousy decision. I don't dislike her as much but I still do. Blah.

When people fall in love, they can change quickly without much warning. It's very easy for someone who, was down in the dumps (ie: Peyton trying drugs, seeming to fall apart) and feeling out of it, to see a turn around. It wasn't as if she was an addict, and she certainly hadn't hit rock bottom. Yes, she cried quite a few tears, and Hilarie did amazing with the character as far as that went, but part of Peyton's core problem, in my opinion, was always that she missed Jake. The writers demonstrated that for more than a couple of episodes. He was a force in her life that made things right, that took the edge off, so the smiling, giggling Peyton is refreshing. The character has had so many hardships in her life, it's nice to see her have a shred of happiness.

As far as the two having sex, it happens. For all of the good intentions two people can have about wanting to take things slow, sometimes the next step proceeds without any real warning. The thing about it that makes it endearing is that Jake and Peyton have known each other for a while. They've both seen each other through hard times. It's not as if she met him at a bar, fell in love in two days time, and slept with him. These two were friends before they were anything, and I truly hope that Nikki's return doesn't hinder their progress.

I think the writers are doing the show a service with having a couple like these two. With the exception of Jake living in Peyton's house (we need some background on that), I think they're a very realistic couple.
