BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI DIRECTS THE EPISODE - Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) wrestles with casting for his movie while Peyton (Hilarie Burton) tries to prepare for their wedding. Dan (Paul Johansson) advises Jamie (Jackson Brundage) on a school crush. Brooke (Sophia Bush) meets the actress who will play her, Nathan (James Lafferty) gets exciting news, and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) has to make a tough decision at school. Lee Norris and Antwon Tanner also star. Bethany Joy Galeotti directed the episode written by Mike Herro & David Strauss (#616).

I've been watching the LP scenes from last episode so obbsessively over and over, i can't say the episode was boring. but if we get jipped on LP scenes for official movie business scenes, i'll hit someone.

I would say I'm hoping for some nice L/P scenes, but I don't think I'll be able to look at Lucas the same with everything that's been going on lately.

It's what Lucas will do.

It just ruins things for me when I know the actor portraying a character doesn't like the storyline/show and everything.

I just randomly stopped giving a shadoobie. I still like to watch LP on my screen, but, I don't care. That happens with all my ships though.

Well, I'm not sure if you will believe this or not, but I can tell you that Chad loves working with Hilarie. He was very excited when the season started, because in his own words, he was "mostly working with Hilarie for season six." Regardless of what people try to imply here, the two have nothing to do with the editing choices on the LP kisses. That is such garbage. As a director, he did go to LA one weekend to assist with the directing on 6.14, but other than that, he doesn't have any control over anything that ends up on screen. He's enjoyed the LP relationship thoroughly, and that has been pretty evident from his comments during the past couple of years.

Obviously, I can't speak on anything regarding if he likes the show and the storyline. But you know, Joy openly commented on her early dislike of the quickie NH marriage, and she wasn't criticized for that. A lot of people thought it was realistic. (me included) I can give you other examples of actors' critical comments regarding different storylines too.

Don't get me wrong. I won't watch a Chadless season seven either, but I just don't see where Chad's intentions have soured the storylines this season at all. The writing has just not been very good at all. The movie arc has been ridiculous. The Quentin ghost stuff has been awful. Everything with Nathan's 1,000,000th comeback has been boring ot the tenth degree. Haley's been nonexistent. We've seen nothing with LP planning a wedding. The show overall has just been terrible for the most part. I just can't see where anything would have changed if Chad had announced at the beginning of the season, "I'm coming back for a season seven."

Well, isn't there a law that states no one is ever, ever allowed to say anything negative about Joy/Haley?

I think for some, me included, it is hard to know that an actor is basically biding his/her time on a show and doesn't seem to be putting his/her all into their acting on the show and not let that affect how you watch the actor on a show. I have no idea if that is Chad's mindset right now but with everything I've heard for awhile now, that is the feeling I get. And it is hard to seperate from that feeling when I'm watching the show. It is like it is always in the back of my mind when I'm watching it, all this that is going on with another season.

Have Herro and Strauss written any other episodes this season? If I'm remembering right, it seems like they write L/P arguing or tense with each other. 415 and I think they wrote 507 too. Both had a little angsty L/P. I wonder if that will happen tonight?
