In terms of the drug story. It's something that PLL also did. I can't say it's another instance where they were copying OTH because it was pretty much a non story on OTH whereas PLL pretty much had an entire half season on it and then revisited it a season and a half later. I wouldn't have minded Peyton getting an arc like Spencer did with the drugs in terms of it actually going somewhere etc. Spencer's adderall addiction was one of the very few things PLL have got relatively right. Stories like that can be great if done well, they're just rarely done well.

It would've made a difference if Peyton had confided in someone about what was going on with her. That confessional scene was great because we finally got Peyton's pov on how she was feeling but that was all we really got. So most of the season I had no idea what was going on inside of her, most of it was just guesswork.

Same here. That's what was so great about s1, she talked to Haley, Lucas, and Whitey about things. And that season just did a better job of showing us what she was feeling through her drawings.

I think they pushed music more in the later seasons so they could bring in more musical gueststars.

True agaun i didnt see peyton doing it a lot .. wish they gave jt to hayley and peyton went back to drawing .. do we know what she did when she left tree hill?
