Episode 6.17: You and Me and The Bottle Make Three Tonight

PEYTON AND LUCAS RECEIVE SHOCKING NEWS — Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) receive a startling surprise about the pregnancy, as Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian’s (guest star Austin Nichols) relationship comes to a crossroads. Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) celebrate their anniversary, while Dan (Paul Johansson) and Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) babysit Jamie (Jackson Brundage). Meanwhile, Mouth (Lee Norris) and Millie (Lisa Goldstein) try to pick up the pieces of their relationship. Greg Prange directed the episode written by Terrence Coli (#617).

Chad, Hilarie and James filmed on stage 6 today. (the beach house and Leyton's room) (credit to Natalie).

From what I can make out, it says they filmed a scene of Reese and Julian meeting someone (no idea who) in the production office; Lucas, Reese and Julian in the production office; and what looks like Sam going to see Julian at the production office. The scene at Lucas and Peyton's house was the two of them meeting with Julian. And it was Dan at the beach house. (From Call Sheet)

I don't remember a lot of extras being there when they shot that for 618, and I don't think most of the main characters were there, so it doesn't really sound like a game. Skills is with Jamie and the other kids in a few episodes post-618, so I assumed they were just practicing and would have their first game in a later episode. One thing I know about this show: they're not going to show scene after scene of Skills practicing with the children, and then not show them playing in a game.

No one said, but there were about 4 people that posted about being extras, none of them were locals I don't think. That tells me they need quite a big number.

Love this title!

Soo.. I can see Peytons water breaking the morning of their wedding.. forcing them to get married at the hospital. It breaking when she goes to give her vows (would be a repeat of Haleys, water breaking during a speech). Could we hope for this baby to arrive after the wedding?

If its a big number then chances are its probably Nathan playing. I just think it be stupid to have all these extras for a bunch of preschoolers playing basketball.

They used a lot of extras for the talent show.

It might be Nathan playing, but I don't think there's an arena in or near Wilmington that would pass as a big, professional venue. The last time they filmed a game in Fayetteville, they did a local casting call in Fayetteville. If they're casting in Wilmington, it's probably more likely they're filming there - or at least near there. Which means a comparatively small high school or college gym.

It is. Maybe they will suprise us and not do it, but of course their has to be some type of drama at a TH wedding so its bound to happen.
