I'll start off.

My favorite Larry was Kevin Kliner from season 3 on, because I think he fit as Peyton's dad more. I wish we got to see more of Peyton and Larry. Larry seemed like a really good dad from what we saw of him.

Also, it still gets me that Brooke thought he was a hot dad.

Kevin Kilner was my favourite Larry too, partly because I saw him in the first role and I enjoyed how he played off with Hilarie. Same here, especially since we didn't get to see him after season 3 at all.

Personally, I like both Larry's for different reasons. But I think I lean more toward the s1 Larry just because I liked seeing their family dynamic on its own and how it affected Peyton as a character.

I'm glad they brought Larry into Peyton's s3 storyline with Ellie, for sure. And I liked that he was there through all of that. It's just too bad they didn't bring back the actor for s4 and onwards. And in what ways do you think he fit the role of Peyton's dad more than the other Larry? Do you mean lookswise or something else?

^ Yeah, same here. Kind of rings hollow being that he disappeared shortly after Peyton was shot.

Anyway, the first Larry scene.

Lucas: Peyton? (Grabs a rake and goes inside) Peyton!
Mr. Sawyer: Dressing for school is my guess.
Lucas: Who are you!?
Mr. Sawyer: I’m the guy who’s about to take that rake from you and beat your scrawny @#%$. I’m her dad. Who are you?
Lucas: Oh. Sorry. The front door was open and I thought…I’m Lucas. (They shake hands)
Mr. Sawyer: Larry Sawyer. (Peyton walks in)
Peyton: Hey dad do you know where my…(sees Lucas) What are you doing here?
Mr. Sawyer: Oh he’s trying to rake me to death.
Peyton: What?
Lucas: I thought you were…nothing crucial. I’m gonna go put this back/
