I think a lot of the reason Peyton wasn’t liked in the fandom back in the day was because of the demographic of people watching the show. Kids aren’t really capable of grasping the issues Peyton and the show was presenting. I know so many people identified with her though.

I’ve heard nothing but bad things about her character! And I haven’t even watched that show.

Ellie was so great, I’m glad Peyton had her for a little while.

Which sucks, she is pretty likeable for the most part imo. Got ****ed a bit due to how bad the show was balancing the drama out between the characters.

It's Peyton best arc imo, wish Ellie was around for longer though.
