I wish Ellie was alive still....so she can help out m'girl a little bit more in these trying times.

...i hope she can have the strength to remember and follow through with her mothers advice to LIVE LIFE otherwise what would be the point...it would have been in vain all that advice! It's like Ellie came in like an angel and gave her daughter the greatest gift a mother can give a child. FAITH and LOVE a belief that with these two one can accomplish anything one wants in the world...EVEN if we think it's too late or we're not good enough. Encourage us to have a little FAITH in ourselves and it the POSSIBILITY of.....even at the times when we don't have it.

Oh I totally forgot we have this thread. I was just ranting at the Peyton thread about how much I missed this character who brought so much depth to the show last season.

Can she at least visit as a ghost or something.... a flashback? Please

Ellie had such a good storyline with Peyton. It was nice to see Peyton and her becoming close. It was what Peyton needed so it's sad to see her gone now. I wish she was still here to help her through the hard times with Brooke and the hard times that are sure to come.

at the end of season 2 i hated ellie but in season 3 she grows to my heart... i really liked her and i'm sad she is gone...

I miss Ellie a lot.

I try to make some icons of P/E, I think their relationship was so great. I think Peyton did the right thing, spending time with Ellie through out her last days on earth.

Sheryl Lee did such an amazing job! And I really believed her as Peyton's Mom.
The speech about the Meadowlands is so perfect, you can just picture every little bit of it.

Yeah the writers really did an awesome job with this storyline. And the actors really gave it justice. I miss her so much. I wish she'd come back even just as a ghost or something.

But then I'm sorta torned because I miss Peyton talking about her adoptive mom as well. Can we have both?

I miss Ellie.

We had her for a short time but she just fit with Peyton. As someone else said, I really believed Ellie as Peyton's mom because Sheryl did such a good job. Really at first I didn't like her, but after I realized how much she loved Peyton, I was hooked on their relationship...it's sad she is gone.
