Welcome to the 2nd Peyton/Derek Appreciation Thread

In a letter Ellie wrote to Peyton before her death, and tucked in her favorite Led Zepellin album, Peyton discovers that she has a biological brother from the biological father she's never met. His name is Derek. He is played by the amazingly talented Ernest Waddell of the "Bedford Diaries" fame.

Before the real Derek could show up, Psycho!Derek posed as Peyton's brother. Played by the ever so charming Matt Barr. Caught in his web of lies, Psycho!Derek disappeared at the end of episode 5 after causing much havoc in Peyton's life. Will he come back? Only time will tell.

I have to say it was so nice to see Derek back on the screen. And an actor who can act is always appreciated. They looked adorable together and Derek looked so cute. I thought he looked older in season 4 than he did now

I loved the walk through the cemetary and her taking his hat.

Well, I think they are both younger than Hilarie in reality.
According to Wikipedia, Ernest was born around 1986, so he is 4 or so years younger than his "little sister" on the show.
While, according to IMDb, Matt Barr was born on February 14th 1984, so he is almost 2 years younger than Hil as well.
