Did any of the actors get nominated individually for Friends? Or just the show?

So it seems like they probably could have had more, but because they agreed to that all going for the same award thing, they probably passed up a few awards in favour of keeping the good spirit between them on the show.

Courtney had the hardest script of all the actors and they all have said that many times in interviews which is why they all were disappointed that she was never recognized for her talent. Seriously Monica was

And how did David or both Matt and Mathew never won any? I know Matt won for his show Joey though.

I know I loved Monica she was my fave I loved it when she's scream I know! I'm surprised the others didn't get one to especially David and Matthew cause they were great with their comedic timing

I think they all had worthy performances at some point, so it's definitely disappointing that they seemed to have been snubbed out of some kind of elitism as much as anything.

I know people say the writers were really great but at the same time each actor gave all of their performances. Not so many sitcoms are like that. The only other sitcom where I thought the actors gave sold their performances was Martin, Boy Meets world and Sienfeld. How I met Your Mother is about the only good sitcom that is left on TV and it's really sad. I grew up watching sitcoms before being six and watching the pilot of Beverly Hill's 90210.

HIMYM is by far one of the best sitcoms left I love it it needs more acknowledgement

I miss Friends and Fraiser too that was great

A lot of sitcoms now barely make it past pilot. They're usually not very good. I loved Scrubs but obviously that is all but done/running on empty now.

Definitely. If there's one thing, I'd say their "timing" was amazing. They all knew which facial expressions to use, which tone of voice....

I also thought Fresh Prince of Bel Air was amazing but I was actually more impressed with their emotional scene acting than their comedic acting, and that's saying something.

I loved scrubs too but I think it had the perfect ending now and to bring it back without half the cast is silly but I get Bill's point about having people unemployed and stuff.

eta my fave fresh prince scene is where Will meets his father and he's going to take Will with him on a trip but cancels last minute and uncle Phil consoles Will I love that scene Will and whathisname are great in that scene! Best scene imo
