I did not like the first dance song at all. I wanted it to be a Peyton and Lucas song, not just a Peyton one. But oh well.

I hated that they used KV as well. I thought for sure that Mark would throw some song in there regarding LPs history. The song choice was a disappointment.

I also didnt like how short their time together at the reception was. Ugh.
I did like how Peyton joked that she would dance with Julian if he didnt dance with her and how he joked that he would dance with Nick. Lol.

The way i see it, LP is Mark's baby. they're not a fan favorite couple. that's Naley. so Mark lets fans dictate how NH's relationship go (and to a certain extent BL's) but LP is all him. He wants complete control of them, to the extent he had to remind the network they were his original endgame couple. and its not like he's made bad choices regarding them, either, because he hasn't.

i like 'sweet silver lining' for LP because that's what they represent to each other-the silver lining. is it a peyton song? yeah, but its almost as if Peyton wrote it to Lucas, so I liked that. but that's just me.

yeah, i didn't like any of the song choices either.

i liked the epi for S6 though - it was one of my favs all season; but considering it's in S6 that's not saying much of anything for me, lol. but i mean, you could tell the cast had a blast and it was just a really fun epi. but when i look at the overall beauty of LP's story - that wasn't how i pictured their wedding at all. at least back in the S1/3/4 days. =/ there were A LOT of things i didn't like about the epi really lol.

the coda was def my fav part though. (:

well because Chad was leaving, so the network wanted to split LP up. Mark had to remind them LP as endgame was non negotiable. DUH!

I truly respect Hilarie, she showed so much class in the interviews when she was questioned abou quitting the show, I love this woman to pieces.

well, she could have stayed if she really wanted to. and she did. It was Mark who wanted LP together. Hilarie would have played the part of the single mother if it meant keeping her job. but I wouldn't have wanted her to, and obviously Mark didn't either.

so its tricky.

I don't get the feeling that Mark asked her to stay as a single mother. I really don't believe that he could stomach even throwing that out there as an option. He loves L/P too much.

not him, the network. the network still wanted Hilarie, and Hilarie would have stayed, but Mark didn't want to split LP up. It was Mark who said if Chad goes they both go.
