"What Could Have Been"

DAN ASKS NATHAN TO ANNUL HIS MARRIAGE TO HALEY - Nathan (James Lafferty) is released from the hospital and returns home to a pile of unpaid bills and an eviction notice. Lucas (Chad Michael Murray), Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Brooke (Sophia Bush) throw a fundraiser at the River Court to raise money, but Dan (Paul Johansson) is the one that comes to Nathan's rescue. However, his gift comes with strings - he wants Nathan to ask Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) for an annulment. Barbara Alyn Woods, Craig Sheffer, Barry Corbin, Moira Kelly also star. Bethany Rooney directed the episode written by Jennifer Cecil (#221).

“ONE TREE HILL” – (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“The Tide That Left and Never Came Back”/“The Leavers Dance” MUSICAL ARTIST JIMMY EAT WORLD PERFORMS AT TRIC – Things heat up between Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Brooke (Sophia Bush) after they head to New York for an overnight stay with Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz). Nathan (James Lafferty) and Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) conspire to desert Dan (Paul Johansson) for good, leading to an explosive conclusion when he discovers their plan. Peyton (Hilarie Burton) is elated when she gets the band Jimmy Eat World to perform at TRIC in time for Jake's (Bryan Greenberg) release from jail. Meanwhile, Andy (guest star Kieran Hutchinson) invites Karen (Moira Kelly) to spend the summer in New Zealand.

This is the episode that Jimmy Eats World will perform at Tric as part of a movie-night fundraiser for Nathan. According to an extra, Jake leaves in this episode. Andy and Karen are apparently still together. Brooke is helping Peyton deal with Jake's departure.

Bryan Greenberg (Jake) has signed on for 8 episodes of the show this season.

I am not a fan of Jeyton but as long as Peyton is smiling I am happy.

I like Jake/Peyton, but not if it means Brucas will be together. Yuck.

I agree I think they just have Jeyton so they can have Brucas.

I just dont want Jeyton to go to fast.

For me I think Jake & Peyton have been like a year in the making. They really started to notice each other over a year ago in "You Gotta Go There To Come Back". But I agree, I don't want Brucus either, cause they're together in real life & I just think that's cheesy.

See I wouldnt mind Jeyton and I am freaked out about them taking their realtionship to the next level because I dont know what that means. It sounds like they have sex and if they do I will mad because Peyton doesnt need a sleep with me friend she needs a friend who will help her and I see Jake helping her a lot. I really hope they just stay friends because I dont want Peyton getting hurt.

Well. you all kow I love the spoilers..

And you're right Tiffany, it's been a year! And it look like were going to have to wait more..but it's good, it looks like normal and even slow relationship development for an OTH couple.

Well and it was nice seeing a happy Peyton, I'm hoping it will last.

Don't really care about Brucas, I hope Brooke will reject Lucas and he will pine over Brooke for a while, it'll keep Lucas away from Peyton for a while and this is what I like, I felt like he was ruining my favorite girl last season

Okay, I had this thought that scared me. Bryan's name is not listed for episode 12 and there is no description about anything concerning Peyton. Is it possible that she won't be in episode 12? The original five are always in every episode, so I need to put that thought out of my head, right? I wonder if she will still be in Savannah. The show never did say how long her suspension was.

Some of the decriptions say that Hil also appears, just no mention of Peyton

I'm thinkning that if she is in Savannah, we might get a scene of her calling someone from Tree Hill, hopefully Brooke.

Unfortunately, there is a lot going on in the next episode and it doesn't look like there will be much of Peyton.

I wonder if Peyton will ever talk to Lucas about him calling Jake. You would think that she would thank him, but this show is weird sometimes.

But see if Peyton & Jake aren't in the next episode that would be good. Because it would be 1 episode that Bryan isn't on, therefore he could be sticking around all season.
